  1. Haven't tried this yet but the Helix cheat sheet would suggest you just need a merge block in the correct place. Same as parallel processing one input signal and combining before the output. Edit: Page 18 in the manual
  2. Matthew has just bought a Yamaha Pulser 400 from me after I answered his ad in the wanted section here. Deal was as smooth as a very smooth thing. Comms were excellent and payment swift. I wouldn't hesitate to deal with Matthew again. And he seems very pleased with his purchase which is a big bonus!
  3. Assume so, it's the guitar equivalent of the Aftershock, but has the bass models too when you look in the manual
  4. Anybody interested in the Aftershock, the LA Lady seems to be pretty much the same thing in different clothes... and Prymaxe have a "gently used" one going for $108. And they ship to UK.
  5. Wash your mouth out! What sort of talk is that?!
  6. Interesting preamp - what does it do?
  7. What? With a few changes a Joyo British can be made into a VT Bass-a-like?! Joyo British incoming then!

Well, I mean - how many overdrives is too many overdrives, right?

I don't believe there's any such thing as too many overdrives... It's like saying I've eaten to many buns! Nonsense!

  8. Wal's are 2+2 with a string retainer. Hipshot do a nice 2 or 3 string retainer and there are cheap copies on ebay which are good quality, but much cheaper.

The original Classic Vibe Squier series was a 60s version, not the 70s block and bound. They came in Fiesta Red and Sonic Blue - there have also been reports that there are a few Olympic White ones knocking around. Brilliant basses. Also keep an eye open for an SQ series 80s Squier. Truly amazing basses.
  10. I had a 5 string once upon a time - bought from here and sold here. One of the ones that got away. Awesome, awesome, awesome bass.
  11. Fender Roscoe Beck Signature
  12. Calling @discreet
  13. Damn... me too!
  14. Possibly. I may be wrong but I believe you need to pay a lot more attention to cooling when running the 800w module at 2/2.67 ohms. Maybe they just took a conscious decision not to bother? Ashdown didn't either with their 800w amps.
  15. Does it involve them not being able to hear the rest of the band? If so I know a few guitarists that wouldn't notice...
  16. Other than 800 watts and block in the title, I don't see many similarities myself!

  18. You don't get many of those to the pound! Used to have serious GAS for 5 string one of these. GLWTS!
  19. Take 2 of your basses as examples. Toss a coin. Heads you sell bass a, tails it's bass b. If you're disappointed by the result of your coin toss your original idea has a pretty significant flaw! If not then I don't see anything wrong with having somebody else make your decision for you.
  20. I learned to play initially with a pick and regretted it later. Couldn't play with my fingers at all. It took an extended break from playing - and not being able to find a pick around the house - to get me playing with fingers. Now I play 99% of the time with fingers (usually because I still can't find a pick around the house!)
  21. Try not to picture Deputy Dog when watching that video. Bet you can't!
  22. These are awesome. Wish you were closer.
