2.
I think this is what I'll use for my next build
You still want more?! I hear it can be quite an addictive hobby this old cab building...
  3. Hi guys, Just wanted to let you all know what a star mikeh is to deal with. I've just sold him an Aguilar AG500 amp. Friendly comms and quicker than quick payment. Great guy who i'd deal with again without hesitation. Cheers Ian
  4.
Well the amps sold
...to the man with the snake!
  5. What impedence are the speakers? What way are they currently configured? Need to know that before you can assess if it's possible.
  6.
The spec page from Tech is slightly misleading. They sold the cab in either 4 or 8 ohm versions. This is the 8 ohm version.
...what he said... Having an 8 ohm cab means you can always add another 8 ohm cab, as most amps are 4 ohm capable. If it was 4 ohms the vast majority of amps couldn't handle adding another cab.
  7.
That's what I thought Just to check though, it runs at 4 ohms as well as 8 ohms, right?
No, it's an 8 ohm cab. But as I said it's that loud I'd doubt anyone would need to add another cab, unless you're playing stadium sized venues!
  8.
Keep in touch I would definately be interested in that 4x12.
No probs!
  9.
I've been *possibly* looking for one of those 412 Tech cabs for a while! I would be very interested if you decide to sell in April, and I live in Sheffield myself
Keep in touch. If you're still interested nearer the time then you're in an ideal location!
  10.
Good golly miss molly, that is lovely.
...what he said :brow:
  11.
Would have been interested in the cab if you were a bit closer.
Um... read the first 3 lines again... especially the "possibly delivering these to your door" part. Could be closer than you think!
  12.
You could just go with a grill cloth maybe? Perhaps a nice sliver one for a cool vintage vibe... Would afford at least a little protection, keep dust out and probably wouldn't add much weight-wise at all... Just my 2p Eude
Exactly what I'd suggest...
  13. Hi Guys, Just an initial feeler at this stage. This'll probably be available mid or late April. Being based in Northern Ireland, equipment like this isn't widely available or recognised so i'm advertising here with a view to possibly delivering to your door (depending on your location) or meeting half-way as part of a road trip to pick up my new Shuker in Sheffield when it's finished (hence the mid to end of April availability!). Down to the nitty gritty! Tech Soundsystems ND412S 4x12" + Tweeter 1200Watts RMS @ 8 ohms 30" x 27" x 17" 26kg/57lbs Great cab. VERY loud (103dB sensitivity according to the website - loudest cab I've heard) and VERY light for its size. A pretty easy one person lift. Quite a rare beast this one. It's 8 ohms but don't let it put you off - with the AGGIE it's almost capable of punching down walls! £600 Cab is AS NEW. Never gigged, only been out of the house twice to band practice. This is a kickass cab, but it's just too much for my current needs.
  14. Can you post contact details for the guy who built these for you? How much did they run you?
  15. Hi Guys, I've just joined a new covers band and I'm not great at transposing songs in my head to suit singers with a less than full range so would prefer to learn songs by playing along. Does anyone know of a free program that could change the key of recorded music for me to jam along to? I know I could get midi tracks and change the key but would prefer recorded music - a bit more real-world... Cheers Ian
  16. Take some form of payment with you. Having played Flanker's old 550 I was totally smitten - I'm seriously considering a 750...
  17. Does Mr.BFM have you in his Omni15 tallboy clutches then?
  18. I have an ashdown ABM combo and, although the amp definately has enough power to cover most gigs, the internal speaker is utter pants. 1 10" speaker is never really going to set the world vibrating though! The way I think of it is that it's always better having enough power and not needing it than needing it and not having enough. If it's any help there was a 500 watt ABM 1x15 combo for sale in the classifieds for £250... If I lived on the mainland I'd have it in a flash!
  19. I'll ask the question - I may be interested in this. The only thing I don't like about my JO is the jazz neck. I'm more a precision neck man myself!
  20. No probs. Keep it in mind though. They are an awesome cab and very light for the size. Mine'll be for sale on here in a couple of months.
  21.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...A:IT&ih=007 What a rig. I don;t want the head - got two of them, but that 4 x 12 would make the ultimate 'concert rig' Anyone interested in buying a Tech Mini 15 so I can justify the extra expense?
If you really want a tech 4x12 I might have an 8ohm one for sale soon (although undecided yet). I've to make a trip to see Jon Shuker about the end of March and could deliver it in the Midlands (ferrying it from Northern Ireland)... we could maybe work out a deal for your tech 15. Is it 4 or 8 ohms? PM me if you're interested...

    8x10 cabs

Bergantino 6x10 would probably eat all of these cabs I would think...
