1. Hi what's the location? How's much does the amp itself weigh please?
2. Lovely bit of Flame Maple. Must not buy 6 string. must NOT buy 6 string!
3. I would go with it being a modified 315. I had a stock 315 in the same sunburst, lovely bass. The neck was thin with a fairly wide flat fretboard. Good stuff
4. What state is the neck in now?
5. How do. I thought these were heavy basses - is the 8.3lbs weight what you recorded? Anyway, have a BUMP!
6.
Yikes, an extra string and more controls to fiddle with. This'll take some getting used to. For a moment I thought I'd bought this bass mentioned earlier but it still says SGC on one of the pickup covers.
The BC five string I had was really easy to play. A dream. As five strings go anyway
7.
Very pleased to have picked up one of these yesterday. From the info in this thread I've ascertained it's Japanese, made in 1991 and probably a SB315. In good nick and for the price I paid it seems like I couldn't have found a better bargain.
photos would be good
8. Is the Speaker On/Off switch 'to all intents' a Mute button or not?
9. nice, very nice. And it's good to see the grain on the neck - many BCs have a solid colour masking this
10.
Hi Matt ... You have probably done this already and I am a complete technophobe , but I had a similar problem with my 6.2 head .. Replaced a valve on Bass Directs advice and has solved this issue for me .. J
I wondered if you're onto something haimesy. The fact that the noise goes away suggests its as something heats up - so a valve may be a fair bet?
11. Would you consider a trade for some Gibson Y fronts?
12. That is a bargain - I think these amps have a quality sound.
