1. Thanks there's not too many left to sell lol i've just decided to work through my Christmas holiday to try to earn enough to buy back my graphite necked 86 jazz special I sold to a mate. Lesson learned! Credit card=bad!! On the plus side I'm thankful to have owned so many nice basses over the last few years. I still hope to get the black six string status energy back one day too! (my first was a kay sg which i only used four strings on, then a kaman gtx53 pointy thing but not bad apart from the absence of taste! )

4. Oh man I'm so sorry to hear about this, hope you can get it fixed ok.
5.
Yay! Congratulations. A fine first bass indeed!
Ain't it just!! James was also a pleasure, and welcome to the family!
6.
What you need is a pic of this draped over a semi-naked lovely and it would be gone in minutes! Good luck with sale
Ha ha !! True hopefully this a sold now. Pending usual
7. I change mine depending on the song or tecnique I'm using. Sometimes it'll change during a song I keep the adjuster at the front. The quick strap drop is something I picked up early on, it's like an extra string to the bow heheh.
8. Yeah I reckon it's the bt2 cheers dude.
9. Yeah, cheers dude, from eyeballing it looks to be the bt2 just wondered if anyone if anyone had the def yay or nay. I own a few you'd think I'd know really lol
10. Why can't my streamer sell that quick!! Enjoy the bass it's a real stunner.
11. sorry I'm being dumb but I forgot which model of hipshot goes on my jap fenders, specifically the geddy lee, is it the bt2 or the bt7? I need to know so I can tell santa!
12. I was so gutted to sell it as soon as I could I bought the same bass again, and I still have it!
13. Welcome to the family dude. Who knows, maybe that first bass could be presented by moi! Lol
14. Will sell for £400 (without detuner), no less, collected. If I absolutely have to post it would have to be with neck off after receipt of cleared funds. Gutted this is taking so long it's such a great bass. There has been interest but no takers yet.
15. Strangely my fave compressor for bass is the unmodded boss cs3! I've had most of the others, still fancy trying the bbe but so far I always go back to the boss.
16. Yeah, my rig is only noisy at home, but it drives me round the bend!
17. i think its a guild but dunno what model, my local shop has one in
18. Funnily enough the same thing happened to me recently after something like 17 years playing and I'm not normally a timing case (a few live recordings in the wooden toys link in my sig not too bad timing I hope) but just lately my timing sucks!! I listened back to a take and was mortified, dunno what's happened to me. That said When I redid the take I turned the bass down in the cans which really helped. I think was zoning on too much on the bass rather than the bass In relation to the track. I always say bass is easy to play, but it's hard to play well!
19.
If you haven't used a Bass Xciter, gentle reader, then for £30 I'm happy to recommend you try one. Not suitable for metally / thrashy / punky stuff (IMO) but superb for blues / jazz / classic rock. No money changed hands in connection with this product endorsement.
And soon will be mine muhahaha (as soon as I get out the bath...iPhones rock!)
20.
just power by batterys or use a decent power supply to filter out any electrical interference
I'm using a gator gbus but I get noise with or without fx through headphones or amp and on all basses unless I touch metal and even then there is still some noise. I shielded all my basses which helped but still buzzy.
21. My house is really buzzy, im sure its to do with dimmer switches and crappy wiring im sure some of the noise is airbourne, would one of these stand any sort of a chance?
