    My deepest condolences, as has been said before, we may not all have met in the flesh, but this place is def like a family and to loose one of us so suddenly is truly saddening. My thoughts are with Steves family at this time.

    All change in the Gaf household and i no longer need this.     It looks like everyone is selling rays at the mo, and sadly i have to have a pop at selling mine too. Its black sparkle piezo model with pearl guard, matching headstock and hipshot detuner and nice flamey neck in a musicman hardcase with MM polish cloth etc. The bass in in great nick but does have some dinks and a finish blem on the front by the pickguard. Were a small piece flaked But is a really high spec'd (i.e. expensive) stingray ( priced it up on some interactive add the options watch the price type site and it came to £1700!) (no swaps im too easily tempted and need the cash!) i guess id sell for £600 collected. (wounder!, it was valued at £900 s/h like 18 months ago!) here are a few pics that arent all that great for now....would anyone be remotely interested, bad timing i know! offers may considered (no swaps though i need the money!)

    You have NO idea how hard it was not to title this thread 'I need help finding a black knob' but i fought the temptation! Longshot........anyone know where i might find the old 80's style F stamped black knobs that came on the jazz bass special, fender esprit etc back then?????

    Thanks for coming on and sharing that with us Adrian, i for one am a HUGE fan of the mag and have every issue, (Still miss Bassist though) i kinda like the fact that it is a smaller more homegrown sorta mag it makes it feel more exclusive, i get bassplayer only occasionally, i find it just too American! FWIW i think the 'My bass is feature' from bassist should make a come back, hit me up for the story on my trusty old sonic blue jazz anytime!

    Strangely ive gone back to the boss cs3 after trying the EBS and the aphex, i just prefer the squish and attack and find i can live with the noise due to the last pedal in the chain being a noisegate. I really want a fancy one, but just find the boss works for me.
