With great regret, I’m selling my stock Ibanez SR500 - I call it ‘the woodchipper’ - for obvious reasons! It plays great and sounds fab, which is why it’s so worn. For a good few years it was my gigging number one, and used for all sorts of jams, open mics etc, which has left it looking very well played!! Don’t be fooled by the looks though, it’s been meticulously maintained and cared for, the neck is great and is well set up. It’s wearing a set of elixirs at the minute. There’s one dead fret up the very top of dusty end somewhere if I recall, but only with my silly low action! you can hear a somewhat muffled video of it here, back before I’d chipped quite so much of the finish off!! I’m asking £200 collected from Cheltenham sadly I cannot post. not bad considering the retail price!

I recently bought back this stunning 99 streamer LX after having pined for it back for 15 years!! But … my circumstances have suddenly and unexpectedly changed and Im gutted to say that I need to move it on again The good: It’s stunning!! It’s set up well and plays beautifully, I’ve owned several Warwicks and this one is special - there’s just something about it. It’s snarls and pops and slaps and bites and it’s just so comfy to play. It has songs in it. There’s a hipshot extender and Schaller straplocks and brand new EMG pickups with an EMG preamp - a month ago! New barrel jack fitted too. Everything works as it should. Including the truss rod. The neck is beautifully figured with a lovely holographic depth to it. But I can’t capture it in a photo. The No so good - and the reason for the cheap price! It’s had a knock - meaning the top is cracked around the knobs. See the pics. It’s visible up close, but it’s totally sound. You can’t move it or push it etc. it’s still perfectly solid and sound and seems to require no repair etc. it’s fine. It just looks rough up close. Also, there’s some buckle rash on the back - hard to picture though Hence im selling this gorgeous, well set up bass with brand new EMG electronics at just £750 ovno collected only from Cheltenham.

I did the same with my books, don’t think it did anything.

A while back I bought these for no particular reason. Used them once and now really have no need for them! I have one set of boxes for both cab and head. All are pristine apart from one tiiiiny paint scratch on one of the heads. £150 for a pair. I’ll consider a deal if you want to buy both to create a stereo rig which was my intention. No cables included. Collection only from Cheltenham only as my home situation means I have no chance to post.

My 1990 mij jazz has loads of this, the finish has cracked and fallen off in several places -
I’ve ended up with two headrush 112s which are fab, but I’m on iems these days

Who has a killer bass that they've neglected for one reason or another?

This stunning GMR. The east preamp developed a fault, so I pulled it and haven’t found the time or inclination to sort it so it’s sitting in a bag with no electronics. Tbh at this point I may just shift it -

Just bought back my old Streamer LX that I sold on here something like 15 years ago. Always missed it, so pleased to have it back. Sadly it’s had some damage in the meantime, and it’s cost a bit to get going, but now with its new EMG insides, it’s sounding great. Last two pics are from the first time around, back when I still had long hair

I also bought a small bass rig, used it once and won’t bother again, I just prefer the sound of my Headrush speakers now.

Mine goes up and down during a set, rock stuff, it’s lower.

No idea, spotted it and thought you lot might get a kick out of it is all.

I had this issue with the Ibanez EHB series, just found them ache inducing to play.
