I need something that my guitarist can use to record new ideas and email em to me to hear, but really cheap and simple, i was wondering of the zoom G2 would be something he could use ? he'll need some kind of rhythm guide drum thing built in, is the Zoom and its cubase software a good idea?

Ive had the shoulder strap on theie rockbass bass bags go on me twice, once dumping my bass headfirst down a flight of stairs, luckily it was the ray so no harm done, but the stairs were trashed hehheh

I get the same thing, or i try to DI from my VXL and they insist i use a house behringer DI!? WTF!! I think its laziness and fear of something different which means they may have to think instead of just doing the same as every other night

I hate having to tune down, i find i prefer thr tighter tension in terms of feel and tone, also i tend to do my set ups tuned standard so the action is affected when i tune down, i should just set one of em up to be downtuned really like i did when i played full step tuned down heavy metal.

Im about to start experimenting with looping as im getting an RC20 for my birthday, and was looking at an EHX POG to go with it, but then i started to wonder about the digitech Whammy, which do you guys reckon would be the better idea?, doe the whammy work ok with bass?, and what type of PSU will it need? I want to use it to emulate guitar sounds, and add harmonies. Cheers

lol, if only thats the funds from my old warwick with some birthday cash, and even more tragicly im back with RS, albeit in a part time, two or three afternoons a week kinda way!

I had one and also found it sapped my mids and that the dive was too fuzzy, swapped it for a hartke VXL and havnt looked back, the VXL is a great sounding, truly versatile pedal that for me really nails that valvey grind, as well as being a DI and preshape and external eq, great great pedal.

so a standard uk boss wallwart or poedal power supply should work ok, thats what i figured, cheers

Im also curious to know wether FX imported from the US will work ok on UK power supplies such as EHX, Boss etc?

Thanks mate, might be worth checking out, what does it do? RE the safety thing, the hum has been with various amps/basses and with or without FX so im pretty sure its the house rather than any of my gear which all behaves just fine elsewhere and indeed in the house too, when the dimmers are off.

My old status energy six string in black, still gutted i sold it but couldnt afford it even if i could find it.
