10.
I think it's turned into that.
whatever
 11.
Not sure how that's relevant to my post but if that's what you were listening to in the 70s then great but it was a long way away from what i was listening to. .............although it is rather soothing.
It's the blockheads before they became the blockheads

 13.
It does to me too in 2013 but in the 1970s The Blockheads were a great band even without Ian Dury. I saw them loads of times in pubs in London and they were up there with the best of them at the time.
and for all the 1970s radio caroline heads out there ... 14.
I take your point, but how many drop tunings can we actually hear / discuss - the mods could limit / compress them surely? Whatever.
most punters out in listener-land will never be able to distinguish between a P and a J but that doesnt stop us lot discussing it ad nauseam WE
 15.
Metal vs Soft Rock would be good, too. Whatever.
nooooooo you would need a whole new metalchat site to cater for all the sub sub-sub sub-sub-sub genres wotevs
 16. a bass playing friend told me that you shouldnt use a curly lead unless you have long curly hair
 17.
Going back to post #1, I've voiced this previously. Over in the porn section it's pretty much all club-level threads postings albeit without the narcissic need for numbers. I'd sooner see members gear on an individual thread merit basis - much like Gary's plethora of Spectors - rather than trawling through 75 pages of individual Fender Precision and Jazz basses (which, come on, all look pretty much identical). P
+1
+1 We need a club for those who look at Precision vs Jazz, slap vs fingerstyle, Barefaced vs Dark Lord, and just say "whatever".
whatever never mint the PvJ apartheid we need a cats v dogs subforum

 20.
I like where you are going with this... we could coral all the fanboi type groups and section them off
i recently heard a bass player friend say that he thought all left handers should be banished to the isle of wight and with no ferry or internet access too

 25. if youre feeling extremley bold you could take a chisel to the body and make a recessed pocket with a snug fit for the bridge baseplate to drop it down so that it sits flush with the bodywork
