4.
Get some lessons, learn more about music, not just bass, but actually music.....theory, harmony, rhythm etc. If you 'know' something is right, because you've been taught that it is, then that'll improve your self confidence, and your playing. And is that a mint/black/mint pg? .
never mind the fluffy mutes . some people would pay top dollar just for those strings!
WTF?

You may not create a link to this website from another website or document without Mansons Guitar Shop's prior written consent.
Oh damn, by pasting that, have I breached some sort of copyright?
no realistically all they will do (if their web admin is doing their job and examining referrers regularly) will be to email the offending referrer (ie BC) and request it be removed - not a great deal more they can do its often considered netiquette to email webmanagers/site owners if you have a website yourself and want to paste an in-depth link into their site as forces new visitors to by-pass the homepage but from a web forum??? if anybody gets snotty about that then good luck to them if they think they can do without the publicity

 15.
If that's the price of restoring harmonious discourse on TB, perhaps that would be the best idea. Ship it to my house and I'll put it on the bonfire. No need to thank me.
i think youll find ive already negotiated a straight swap wth my blue squier J
 16.
Although I love the original, this version is nice and groove-laden too.
+1 for PJJr
 17.
If it had been anywhere other than RS's. I'd've been all over this the day they went a sale. I dislike the venue intently so I passed. My drummer is going though so now I feel a bit daft for not putting up with the cramped, overpriced cave Have a great time all of you who are going TOP are bound to deliver.
less cramped than an old cinema/theatre style venue - especially if you get a ticket on one of the centre tables loads of room to stretch your legs ! ive seen george duke twice at RS - first time was back in the 'cramped bit' at the sides so second time i paid the extra for the top price ticket - i like specifically that if you get there early at front of queue they give you a good table - i wasnt right at the front of queue but was still lucky enough to get a centre table directly at the edge of the stage directly in front of the man himself - given the price of tickets at other larger less personal venues i dont think the 48 quid for this gig was at all unreasonable
 18.
Guys sorry there has been some new developments in this crazy adventure and I really can't get into it at the moment until I see where it is going to go, Turns out one of the members at TB did decide to contact the family, so I am trying to see where things are going to go and then I will come back and post again. So far so good I have talked to the daughter twice and it seems everything wil have a happy ending for all parties involved. I will update asap.
fantastic news - hopefully the family will give the informant a piece of their mind too - maybe you could even persuade the daughter to join basschat and gives us a posting when she hears about our genuine interest that this superb instrument is back out there making music again
 19.
So, this place has a bad reputation, you were verbally and physically abused, you were threatened with a stabbing in the eye, you received further abuse, you were intimidated on stage... You really should be naming this place.
+1 ... and being the unfortunate cynic that i am i would go even further as to speculate that 'if' anything untoward had happened then the licensee of said premises would have had no involvement or concern whatsoever both for not wanting to upset the local meatheads and secondly if police get involved it all gets logged and fed back to the licensing authorities (which will directly affect the licensee)
