11. yamahas are nice but in that price range id stick with the squiers
12. there is a very subtle technique that is a combination of both left hand fretting and slight vibrato and a subtle slight of hand with the right hand (never got it to work with a pick only fingers) that will give a very slight (ish) sort of fretlessy sound i think it depends a lot on the guitar too as i used to be able to do it quite well on certain basses but not on others not that that helps much but i could always demo it at the next bass bash
13. i love an interval me - i usually nip off for a drink and some nibbles before the second half of the set
14. Wilkomen Bienvenue
15. you could try this its a pretty rhythmic groove with some added widdly bits and i think it might just be about 6.2 out of 10 on the technical difficulty scale mainly i guess due to needing to keep a really tight groove with the drums so not outside your grasp but just enough to give you a bit of a challenge or if you prefer a nice slow 'three minutes past midnight' type of groove try this one http://youtu.be/p9QxFWnUMCI
16.
this is one of a pair of PA spkrs I bought some time ago,it's twin brother has been used as an ext cab to my GK 150MBS & also to various guitar amps, rated at 8ohms @ about 75w from memory, handles low B well & good all round sound with guitar or bass, dims are 520 x 380 x 300 deep, in excellent cond & cheap enough at £30, if you wan't to replace the spkr with something higher powered you would be hard pressed to make a cabinet alone for that money, Collection only from close to M5 junc 28 or during working hours I am next door to Exeter airport, mike b having trouble adding pic will try again later
pm'd

18. are there any super bands with poor bass players? id imagine they're all quite well off im here all week
19. maybe try a lefty loosy quarter turn - leave it for 3 or 4 days and see how it settles - if you need to adjust the saddle grub screws do similar thing and just bring each saddle up half a turn at a time and wait for the neck to settle - personally i would do just the neck and then leave a few days and then adjust the saddles next - that way you will get a feel a bit more of what is going on with the neck movement rather than adjusting two variables at once (ie truss and saddles) as is f you make too much adjustment all at once you can often spend days chasing it all back and forth by keep overcompensating the opposite way before its all had a chance to settle down might be an idea to keep a note of how much adjustment you make - so you know how far you have adjusted in total from where Jon set it up in his workshop
20. have a bump - i just bought an lmb3 on here a month ago and its a great little box - good for using with passive basses to give an instant big active tone
