7.
EDIT: If you're using the XBSW for anything other than the octave function, I'm going to come around to your house and beat you to death with it ;-)
8. I've ditched my GT6B in favour of this Its all i need at the moment. We like minimalist
  9. I've owned the 3.0, 6.0 and demoed a 9.0 and the markbass had the better less brittle sound for me
  10.
Personally, the Shuttle 6.0 lacks it for me, and so did the 9.0. Thats just me though. Some players love the totally crisp Genz sound. It seemed less full than I was used to in the low end. I prefer the more warm full tone of the Mark Bass amps
+1

    Moffat Bass Bash 3
Well chaps this was my first time coming to the Moffat bass bash and it was freaking awesome. Although I hadn't met anyone until this weekend I felt right at home and feel as though I've came away with some right good mates. Shaun and bertie really brought out the tunes and when you have dave and rich playing like warriors it just made everyone sit down with mouths opened. Unfortunatly due to some amazing playing I decided to take a back seat with my playing but trust me you all won't be as lucky next time hahaha alan and dave deserve an award for organising this and thank both of you chaps. I'm a dead cert for next one alan so keep me a space. And for everyone who was at the breakfast table...... I think my top looked better inside out hahaha. Again though.. To everyone who was there and made this a cracking weekend a hope to see you all soon. Cheers steven
and we now know what bass Darth Vader would play and what it would sound like
  12. Berg all the way. I got two AE210's for a modulare 410
  13.
Too heavy for you girly
14. can i just try?
  15. I'm after a small combo no heavier than one of my AE210's (40lbs) other wise i might as well just take the half stack
  16.
I bought one of these two weeks ago from Bass Direct and I'm liking it very much. My objective was to buy a small combo for practice at home and for taking to rehearsals instead of my full rig and it does the job well. I've used it to rehearse with a jazz band, 3 woodwind, 2 brass, 2 guitars and a piano to contend with and there's still plenty of headroom. I was originally looking at the Eden N10 but when I played them side by side this had a smoother tone. The Eden was too trebly for my taste. Not sure how it would be for gigging with but it does have a DI out.
glad you are liking yours. Thinking of getting one of these for practice and the church gigs i do as the LM3 and AE210 is a bit overkill!!!!
  17.
In my quest to find a sunburst 62 looking P bass I went into a local independent guitar shop who have overpriced vintage gear and some new stuff They had a MIJ jazz that fitted the bill but I want a P Anyway after them telling me how they imported a small amount of non export MIJ basses and that the price and quality was often better and cheaper than new MIA, I asked how much and how quickly they could get a P bass They then said, oh with exchange rates and all we are not doing it right now, and would not even give a guide price for one Not that I am overly keen on this route and am interested in knowing if its true, are new MIJ fenders really that good, and who does get these non export items out and up for sale, and for what cost?
this should fi the bill
  18. i thought he was back
  19. That would be so cool but my back would never forgive me!!!!
  20. took them 3 months to refund me on a strap. They kept saying they would do it and never did. Wouldn't buy anything of them again, ever

  22.
Dood, a couple of quick questions which I hope you can answer.... Will the Nova Dynamics work ok running from a 9v supply? I know some of the other TC pedals work ok this way but if you could test for me I'd appreciate it. Also, how does it sound..? cheers D.
apaarently my Diago 9volt can power the nova dymanics but not ever put this to the test. Thats what James said
