2. this doesn't have the pick up selector does it?
3. Or what about a Purple Chilli?
4. Yep AE410 or for a more expensive option two AE210s

8. Bought off of Basjase http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...7&hl=traben Link to original thread for Pics and description. One screw bit dogeard after playing around with action but otherwise same nick as it was when Jase posted it to me. Its not really the sound i was after and its to meh in my eyes to keep hold of as my overdraft has gone ballistic Looking for £260 delivered which is less than I paid for it but I want to recoup my money ASAP.
9. OBBM - top notch cables
10. i would add that there is something about a P Bass and 10's that seem to match very well. My Berg rig sounds the same as it did in the shop, just louder! I have the same sound that i wanted and heard in the shop. Must have been lucky that the sound in my head suited the band
11.
Schroeder cabs are loud and have their mid hump, which lets your bass cut through the mix, but because of this design they are bass shy. As they are closest, I suggest you go to Bass Direct and try the Bergantino cabs. Worry about the others later. Any other plans may evaporate pretty quickly!!
Yeah, Marks a good un. I walked out with Berg and LM3. went in to buy neither!
12.
Sk8 will be along soon to help! Basically, Berg all the way, without a doubt.
Yeah, Berg all the way Using one AE210 with my LM3 gives me much more usable sound than the Shuttle 3.0 driving a Neox 212. in theory the same watts are at play but the Berg is super efficient. Plus i've never heard of Berg having quality issues unlike Schroeder
13. Did you not get on with the VT bass?
14. 2 x 210's from me as its great for modularity and it save my back!
15.
Go here:- and get yourself a Berg ae410 or go here and get the hs410 (if you dont mind heavy lifting) The current Berg 410s both team up with the MB LMII brilliantly and are pretty much as good as it gets. They are very very loud, punch, clear and focused. And I havent heard anything that comes close to mine. Either way get in contact with Mark from Bassdirect and go and have a play (he's poptart on here), you will not be disappointed!
+lots I've got two AE210's pushed by my LM3. Awesome sound
16. Got another AE210 on the way
17.
If you have used them and don't like them then that is a shame,
Don't see why its a shame its just a fact. I've tried the Compact and i am happy to pay the extra £150 for my Bergantino. A much better cab IMO
18. this still available?
19. genz benz shuttle 3.0-10T combo and STL10 cab
20.
Imagine how bad the people who didn't like them feel!
21.
I agree that the aesthetics of the Berg stuff is just superb (can a cab really be beautiful? Berg ae series are as close to beautiful as any IMO, thats for sure), and clearly better than the Barefaced gear, but with each tweak Alex makes the Barefaced stuff looks more and more pro.
this is true bit if you've got compact no.1 its nowhere near as good fit an finish wise as they are now and yet you paid essetilly the same amount.
22.
When you look at the cabs you can buy in the £700-£900 category you can buy some really high quality gear. At £825 this Barefaced is competing in the Premier League of bass cabs, and you shouldn't have to make compromises - like it being too flimsy, or being bass-shy.
+1 at that price it is playing with the big boys
