  1. Cabs now sold. MiBass 2.0 now sold. (elsewhere) I'm selling my little Ashdown MiBass Rig. It's been a great wee setup, modular, lightweight and pretty loud for the size of it! In fantastic condition, bar some scuffing on the top of the head, almost entirely home use, bar a few rehearsals in local studios. The MiBass 2.0 Head is rated at 640W peak, 400W RMS at 4 Ohms, which I think is pretty fair. The EQ is a fairly basic tone stack, but it's pretty flexible. You can overdrive the input using the gain control to get a nice bit of dirt/edge and there's a line in and headphone out too. The DI on this amp, and most Ashdown amps in my experience is particularly nice. I also have the official MiBass Bag for this head, unused, which I will throw in too, along with the original packaging. The Mi10 Cabs, are both 8 Ohm models, so you can get full whack out of the amp when you use them both. They have a 10" concentric speaker, so there's a wee tweeter mounted in the middle of each of them too and they are very pokey units, and kick out a fair amount of low end too. The speakers only have jack inputs, but I will include two extremely high quality jack to jack speaker leads made by OBBM or Rockwire fame (why did you retire, I need more cables!?...) These are absolutely mint, no scuffing whatsoever on the faux carbon tolex, and I also have custom made Roqsolid bags for each of them, which cost nearly £50 per bag, which I will throw in too. See the links to Ashdown's site for all the specs, sizes, weight etcs. More info on the MiBass 2.0 Head >> https://ashdownmusic.com/products/mibass-2-0 More info on the Mi10 Cabs >> https://ashdownmusic.com/products/mi10 I've attached a few photos, but there's more here >> https://photos.app.goo.gl/U4m99QEGQGtKYQ2n9 £125 for the head. £150 per cab/£300 for 2. £400 for the whole rig. Prices above, do not include shipping, would prefer collection, but I can of course arrange a courier at buyer's expense/risk. Any questions, just shout! Thanks for looking. Cheers, Eude
  2. Sorry dude, resigned to keeping it now I'm afraid.
  3. That is going to be groegous!
  4. Very nice, excited to see how this one comes out! Love the idea of using domestic woods too. What's the spec on this, did you go for a 32" scale, like you did with your ACG?
  5. That's a really useful video @funkle, thank you. I might make myself unpopular here, but I actually prefer the tone of the Wal(ish), it gets close to the Wal tone, but has so much more to play with. I'll bet if you had a body and neck made to similar specs of that Wal, you would be very very close, bar the slight dirty signal when push it, but you could fake that easily with something like a JPTR FX Jive in your signal >> https://www.jptrfx.com/ Eude
  6. Don't, your board is incredible, I expect you could use it to land a shuttle, I'm quite jealous!
  7. Board update... I just need to tidy up the cabling underneath now!
  8. What about this? https://www.guitarsoundsystems.com/gss-1000w-sumo-guitar-bass-power-amp-c2x23791314 I doesn't look like it has a fan at all!
  9. Congratulations, that is absolutely stunning!
  10. It's an incredible looking wood. I went for a bit of it on my fretless 6er. Same accent veneer like yours, and I went for a BIG chunk of it in the middle of the neck and also mixed up in the fretlines too. >>
  11. Where'd you order it from, or are you outside of the UK? Edit: Scratch that, just looked at your profile, "US via Croydon". I got stuck at Croydon 😎
  12. Hot Damn that is incredible!
  13. No, sadly. There was a Harley Benton one, just the same but possibly lower quality that came out last year that did, same format, but it seems to have vanished from the Thomann site.
  14. I've got one of these and it's not bad at all. https://m.mooeraudio.com/product/Audiofile--47.html Of course, if my Sansamp had a headphone out, it wouldn't be necessary, but it does sound pretty good.
  15. So SO nice. I had my Salace E Type out for a thrashing this week trying out my new GK head. They're amazing basses, I'll bet you can hardly wait!

    Jazz

Can I play? Yesterday was a fairly jazzy day for me too. (My ACG RetroB 31.5" 5er) Eude
  17. Oooooooft, I'll be very keen to hear how it compares. I would love to try the Deluxe Bass Muff but it's just too darned big! Colour me very interested... Eude
  18. Yup, the nasty, basic italic sans serif font completely spoils the look, why on earth they didn't just ape the style of the old Trace stuff I have no idea. Given how long this has taken to appear, you'd think they could have spent another day on the graphics...
