A lot of it has to do with your particular playing style, or the gear you're using it with! Some stuff simply doesn't go. I have played many fantastic pieces of kit that have sounded and/or felt awful in my hands. Musicman, Warwick, TC Electronic, Boss, Digitech, Yamaha, just to name a few!

Mmm those BB's are some serious stuff! I'm guessing you got a massive deal on it so erummm... £300?

I used my rig last night, tiny tiny 500w head, 4x10 cab (which to be fair is quite big for a 4x10 ) If anybody can make an SVT with an 8x10 as loud as that I will hack my own head off with a slice of stale bread!

I have the Zoom B3, and while I don't think much to a lot of the gain based models, everything else is bloody awesome! Even a lot of the amp sims are as close as i'd ever want I mix it with a few 'real pedals' and run it through my amp, so that I have the exact setup that a fussy git like me needs

Thought I'd break my virginity on this part of the forum with a video someone uploaded of last night's gig with my cover band Generations! This was the first song in our set, and I hit a cringeworthy wrong note in the first 20 seconds of the gig... Bugger However, by some miracle, you can actually hear the bass! I was running my Peavey International 4 string into my Aguilar TLC comp. Sansamp PBDDI, Marshall Jackhammer, and using the Zoom B3 just for the noise gate. Behind me is the Markbass F1 and STD104HF. I used to play a 34" scale bass half a step down, with a gauge .130 string, was fine for me nowadays I would prefer a 35" scale and/or heavier gauge... but it should be fine

Gigging with my Zoom B3 on my pedalboard tonight... Sounded great in soundcheck! I'm keeping this for a LONG time!

I always worried mine was too low, but it's actually spmewhere between 5 and 8 mm at the 12th fret! Relief is about 0.5mm. It is hard to play accurately above the 15th fret...

I've come across bands having the amps facing sideways quite often, works really well actually but then you don't get to show off your prized gear collection Generally I prefer not going through the PA though because in anything smaller than say, the London Astoria, you simply don't need it

I really like the passive BB series basses, really powerful PJ basses and they look the business! RBX775s are great and aggressive sounding if you can find one, though I personally didn't get on with it. Also, you can never go wrong with a nice TRB, I think everyone here will agree with that!
