Great bass,great sound.So versatile.Selling mine due to a bad back though

Had a Hohner stick bass and a Jazz copy(tiger-eye maple top in purple burst!)and I still miss them.They were absolutely great.

The less notes you play,the better the other band members seem,and you will be in demand. Listen to the song without playing;hear the gaps where you are required to play and to not play. Do not be afraid to ask other band members what they want to hear from the bass. And never take the p**s out of the lead guitarist when he makes a pigs ear of a solo.Those delicate sensibilities can't take criticism

Avoid like the plague-very uncomfortable body.Mine lasted 2 months.I p-exed it for a $$.

I put castors on my Peavey 1x15 to save my back.It has'nt improved or degraded my sound at all.

Had one,gigged it once,sold it.Good sound but I found a body with minimal chamfering was too painful on my forearm.It looked bloody huge on me as well!

Great sound with a pick.Ca'nt see it being anyones main bass though.

Status Groove,worn strings,bass boost,treble cut=thump!Only 1 pup at bridge position.Plenty of lows but loads of definition.It cuts through 3 guitars,drums,sax,keys and 5 vocals and still sounds solid.

I'm not a p-bass fan,but at those prices I may convert!Did you see tha Ash j-bass on the Rondo site?I want one of those!

Corvette.My $$ took a while to get used to.I had to move the rear strap button up to get it to hang comfortably.

I found that the best sound on my TE is no pre-shape,no EQ.I use active basses and tend to use rear pup,-b treble,+3 bass.
