  1. I have had a bid of 30 quid for an old M-audio interface which will sell at this price. ive only ever sold in the Uk before and a little wary as the buyer is in Portugal. I have set up ebay global seller. Any other tips or warnings?
  2. Thanks I change mine twice a year, whether they need it or not!
  3. Thanks that’s really helpful It has theBBOT type bridge, albeit slightly chunkier than the older ones.
  4. I was thinking of upgrading the stock bridge on my new fsr p bass to either a fender brass high mass (27 quid seems a good deal) or a babicz or something similar. Any thoughts, is it worth it ?
  5. I had a senior moment last night. I had a great rehearsal with my band in a village Hall about 40mins alway. Chatting and packing up I helped the drummer out with his kit, loaded the car and drove home. Took amp and gig bag out of my car, then opened the rear door to find a big space on the back-seat where my Prcision should have been. after several panicky phone calls a large scotch, and a very sleepless night, I went back collected the key and picked it up from the table that I’d left it on today.

  8. Did the Gotoh bridge make a big improvement ?
  9. Hope you enjoy it. I’m really pleased with mine.
  10. I’d snap this up in an instant if I hadn’t already just bought one !
  11. My recently purchased MIM FSR I love it
  12. We saw them last night in Cambridge. Brilliant a really fun gig and great bass led grooves
  13. Hi Luke is this still for sale ?
  14. That sounds a good find. I quite like the newer silky neck finish but you can't beat a good Japanese P and I really like the 62 re-issue, esp with the US pickups that some have. I wish I'd bought one back in the '90s.
  15. That sounds like a grand day out ! i agree with your verdict of the American Pro. My player needed a bit of a truss rod tweak as there was too much relief, and intonation needed adjusting on a couple of strings but now plays really well.
  16. I A/B’d the player and the Am Pro The pro was really good but way beyond my budget at another 800 quid I rehearsed with my Player FSR on Monday and absolutely love it. I didn’t try the Musicman but I did try a lovely sunburst 5 string at Wunjos Unfortunately Wunjos couldn’t get me an FSR in that colour so I ordered it from my local PMT on Friday it was in store on Saturday. They matched the lowest price £639. Kudos to Tom at Wunjos his response was sorry couldn’t help in this instance but as long as I got the bass I wanted that was the main thing as I d be back next time I purchased something. I certainly will. Great service good prices and nice folk in the heart of the West End; what’s not to like?
  17. Fender Player Series FSR
  18. Picked it up today Adjusted intonation a quick tweak of truss rod and removed poxy stickers and residue- it’s really good; I’m very pleased.
  19. Lovely with the black plate.
  20. Having tried a maple v PF fretboard Player I’ve pulled the trigger on this FSR Player Precision which arrives tomorrow. I’m very excited. I felt that the maple as predicted was a bit brighter and snappier, while still having a nice thump, filling the space nicely between my bitsa rosewood P bass and growly USJazz.
  21. I’m now convinced I want Player series precision but not sure whether to go for maple or Pau Ferro !
