I've found most soundguys prefer to take the DI from my Sansamp , so that in case of amp failure
they still have a feed.
( Before I used the Sansamp, many still rigged up a DI box anyway for the same reason. )
3 amp heads.
Gallien Krueger 1001RB for my main touring gig ( through a GK neo 410 )
GK MB800 for my local gigs ( via a BF compact.)
GK 800RB as my spare head.
Also have a GK MB150 combo for home noodling.
Relatively GAS free now, although do quite fancy something Aguilar-ish.
Quite interesting article from Vintage Guitar magazine that appeared earlier this year - apologies
if already posted.
Cheers.

So I've got a Countryman bass uke which is great. Had it nearly a year now, and was wondering when
is it time to change the strings? They still seem okay to me, but have noticed the undersides feeling a bit rough, where they make contact with the frets.
It came fitted with cream coloured Aquilar strings, so would be looking for the same replacements I guess?
Anyone restrung their bass uke, and could maybe recommend any strings please?
Also any tips on how to best do it as it looks like it might be a devil of a job, and I'm useless with
tying knots etc, which I think you have to do underneath the bridge. Cheers.
Aaahh, just found out - Chaka Khan, Christine and the Queens, Roy Wood, Rag n Bone Man, Gregory Porter,
ABC, UB40, Seasick Steve, Caravan Palace, Imelda May, John Cooper Clarke, Hugh Cornwell and Ruby Turner.
Not the best line up for me to be honest, but will still be watching.
Because it is a LIVE music show ( although pre recorded ) which is sadly still a rare thing on TV these days.
I love it, always watch it on New Years Day after getting up late.
Anyone know the line up this year?
That gig would be my idea of nirvana to be honest. Would so love to be involved in something
like that - a great contrast to what I normally do.
Mrs CP loved it too!!
Seem to remember they were quite cheap and cheerful when first introduced (2008/9 maybe?),
but didn't get to try any of the range. Only item I've seen since then was in a Cash Converters somewhere...
Mott the Hoople's (David Bowie) song 'All the Young Dudes' mentions T.Rex ( as well as the Beatles and the Stones )
'Jackie Wilson Said' by Van / Dexy's.
The Commodores 'Night Train' mentions just about every soul act, as does Arthur Conley's 'Sweet Soul Music'....
And let's not forget the recent 'Lets Marvin Gaye and get it on ' by Charlie Puth.
Plenty more about this on another thread here -

I'm not crazy about the look of clip on tuners either to be honest, but much prefer that to having a pedal / extra cable
in my signal chain and maybe compromising my sound :-)
Snark clip on. Accurate enough, and no need to have a lead to check tuning. I have a few and they've all
been 100% reliable. Gave up on rack tuners as just a bit too much faff.
Also, no extra cabling needed between guitar and amp (or amp and tuner if you use tuner out etc...)
I quite like his voice to be honest. The gig shown last night proved how well he can sing, didn't falter once to my ears.
The band were exceptional too, especially the drummer as mentioned above.
As for his being 'half forgotten', this from Wiki -
Two days before the album was released in the Netherlands, Williams received a gold edition of the album during his appearance on RTL Late Night on 2 November 2016 for over 20,000 pre-orders of the album in the country. It debuted at number 1 on the UK album's chart with combined first week sales of 67,000 copies sold.[sup][12][/sup]
Maybe not as impressive as his previous releases, but still doing it.....
Just watched the programme on ITV. Whatever you think of Robbie, still some great songs there.
And a top band too, with Guy Chambers back in the fold on keys
For me, Robbie falls into that category of 'quite like some of the music, don't particularly want to watch
him perform it though' - along with Elton, Cliff, Buble etc.
