just eaten a pizza and am gently supping a beer. i see an early night for me...nice to have had a blast last night, but i'm back on the wagon tomoz. i can only do hangovers on bank holidays these days !!

girlfren and i polished off a bottle of champagne and a bottle of wine each last night. ouch...i can only really see properly out of one eye - i'm deffo "walking like colombo" today. who's for a fry-up...mugs of tea, fried eggs and toast all round ?

hmmm....interesting - i like the idea of the two signal paths...i'd never thought of that i've put my ebs microbass straight into my samson power amp and got some great sounds at home .as you say, i guess it's only one step away from preamp pedal >> powered speaker. a think a chap over at ebassist used to do that.

just sorting out the spare/music room after my folks were in it at xmas and i decided to pull out some old bits of kit and build a franken-amp... so...here it is, in it's valvesque glory a ridge farm gas cooker, a joe meek mic pre/compressor and my samson power amp. sounds great... anyone else want to share ?

i mainly spent this year trying out all of the effects i've always said i would - especially in terms of overdrives. this now means i have rather of lot of overdrives but that's no bad thing... -
if it's compatable with the korg, you could try an alesis F2 - i use mine with my ehx holy stain and it's fine. you can use it as a volume pedal at the same time too.

i use my pedalboard, which ends into an ebs microbass II and run that into the fx return of whatever amp is in the practise studio. very light indeed !
