just to say the FNR is prolly the best comp i ever had - i only got rid of mine cos i wasn't using outboard any more. great for bass, superb for recording and mixing. good luck with the sale !! -

fast forward to today... and it's arrived...a beautiful rockbass fortress in black stain and now...i have to go to bloody work !!!!!

i used the head version of this amp regularly in a rehearsal studio and it sounded great - lots of tweakage available. good luck !

...at one of the evil shops on denmark street. i was impressed...i'm on the lookout for a decent fretless now i've cut my teeth on my £50 cheapie, so i thought i'd try out a rockbass today if i could find one, as i understand they all share the same neck. it played very well - the neck is thicker than my little hands are used to, but it seemed to suit playing fretless. so... do i hit GAK with my credit card for a rockbass fortress fretless ? i'm giving myself till wednesday to decide i think any thoughts ?

if you use spray mount, use it outside, and a long way from anything you don't want coated with horrid sticky gunk. if you want it to never come off, you could attch the carpet with something like evostick carpet adhesive

i saw (some of it) last night...i agree it was very poor. but some the footage around the event of the laaahdon flower children was quite amusing.

up for grabs is my old-model ebs microbass II (without the -10dB pad and the pre/post EQ switch for the DI out). it's been part of my live rig since i bought it from lee650 a bit back and it's amazing imho. still in excellent condition, apart from the obligatory velcro on the bottom. no box i'm afraid. i recently got hold of one of the newer models, so since i'm not gigging anymore i can't justify having two (as i i ever really could ) EDIT: how's about £140 delivered ? anyone...bueller ? bueller ? thanks
