1. they revolutionised trousers. you could see, well....everything
2. just a thought - some people sell things cheaply as they either need the money straight away, not everyone's seeking to maximise their profit.
3. nobody's forced to use the marketplace....
4. thinnest, fastest neck i've played is on my '94 fortress.
5.
i'm not a floyd fan so dont get what all the fuss is with SB, what exactly was so great about him?
listen to the music and decide if you like it...if you don't then there's no 'fuss' to explain. as it happens i think pink floyd were at their best when syd barrett was with them
6. the last three bands i was in
7. reckon you'll be fine then - hope it turns out well !
8. a marlin 50W combo - it was awful and i've no idea why i ended up with it. it blew up on stage - magic smoke and sparks...quite dramatic and just the end it deserved.
9.
Thanks ahpook, I'll give it a shot! Didn't really realise the link on the DI100 could be used as an in as well, I thought it was only an unbalanced out. Very useful.
worthwhile bearing in mind that if you put two gutars/basses into the inputs then the output impedances of the instruments will dictate how they mix together. i just plugged a bass and a guitar into the link and input jacks of my DI100 and the mix of the two depended on the volume controls of the two instruments - not ideal but tweakable to some extent. i'd imagine running each instrument into a buffered pedal before the DI could help to stop the interaction.
10. all the inputs on the DI100 are wired in parallel, so you should be able to use all 3 ins if you so wish (XLR, input and link)
11. Ivan bought my SFT overdrive. what a lovely chap !
12. ...and gone. 29 mins....not bad.
13. [s]Pretty much out-of the-box condition, with box and paperwork. UK only, recorded delivery. It's the newer version. Pics if you want but honest guv, it's mint. Innit.[/s]

15. ickle bump
16. three bass strings left by a long-gone bassist in the corner of the dummer's studio. unused, no idea how old they are. free, but i'd ask either you give something to basschat or annoint the next collecting tin of choice you happen upon. or both !
17. i see they don't recommend their own VI strings for it.
18. i much preferred the 'burlsem' and 'hanley' models myself.
19. it needs a tremolo.
20. pretty much my thoughts too.

25.
That explains why I have been waving my hand at my bass for the last three days with nothing happening .
why slap when you can flap ?
