1. Oops, posted here by accident. Pm'd
 2.
All their products have gone up loads. Funnily enough since a particular event we're not allowed to talk about. Even the B3K is £200 now!!!
If I was Mr Trump, I would shout FAKE NEWS! The original B3K was around £235.00, so the weak GBP is causing prices to go up here, but they are still cheaper than when they started
 3. Yup me too, I'll stop moaning now
 4.
Any more than four is for people who wish they played something else.

Any more than four is for people who can play something else.
Absolutely destroyed, fair play
 5.
They are based in the Netherlands, although their UK site now does a very good job of hiding this fact by providing a UK address whch you'll notice says 'for correspondence only'. I don't think any UK shops have had them yet, so I think it's going a bit far to accuse Andertons of not getting stock due to not paying their bills.
Well bugger me. I never knew that. Always looked at that address and assumed that where they were based. At two day guaranteed delivery and prices in GBP i'd be still happy to use them over Thomann or any other overseas shop, but still, thats a little naughty. Even in the About Us section they don't seem to mention location.
 6. Is the tuning peg nut tight?
 7.
Well, we're doing a lot of promoting ourselves we instigated the gig. We're a tribute band and so the back catalogue isnt a problem! The main band is on for 90 minutes. Some of our band want to play for 75 minutes, some for less - just trying to get a consensus. We can play for 75 mins as we organised the gig, but somehow that feels a lot compared to the main band. I know that for 99% of the gigs that I've been to nearly everyone is waiting for the main band to come on.
75 minutes is certainly a lot if the headline band is only 90. That's almost a co-headline slot, which I presume this is not. 45 mins has to be the very top end of what I would expect really. As good as you may be, people coming to see a headliner wont want to wait longer than that.
 8. Somewhere between 30-60 minutes?
 9.
Which UK shop already got and sold out of their stock then, Bass Direct? I've never seen them in stock anywhere over here.
Bax
 10.
Can you suggest some better ones, considering that 99.9% of musicians have no understanding of what a decibel is?
Isn't she an American actress that looks a bit like Katy Perry?
 11.
I have never had a pre-ordered musical item arrive on time. Doesn't matter what brand or retailer. I think in a way we have been spoiled by Amazon DVD pre-orders and that sort of thing. I now just view a musical pre order to be nothing other than getting in the queue, and I'll simply order it from a shop I trust rather than the one that might have it a little earlier.
On principle ill do just that if it doesn't ship this week, wait a little longer (maybe??) and get it from Bass Direct.
 12. Please keep the conversation civil, folks, and we can keep this thread open. Any personal grievances please deal with privately as opposed to the public forum.
 13. Mine has showed April dates since preorder but just keeps being pushed back, currently 28th April expected stock day. You ordered sometime after me so may be different batches, but either way I really hope it arrives in the next few days.
 14.
where have you heard this from? again they can only send it out once they have it.
On my order history as the expected stock date. I know that But again, its frustrating that another smaller UK store has already had and sold out of their stock and my unit that has been preordered since March isn't even in the country yet. I know it may not be their fault (if they delayed paying for their order for some reason it will be), but I just get irked when preorders ship late. Defeats the point entirely! I wont do it again and thus wont moan again
 15. Expected date at Andertons pushed back again...
 16. If you're not tied to Barefaced look at other options by Bergantino/Vanderkley. As a one cab solution I am loving the Bergantino NV115. Having the mid range driver instead of a tweeter makes a huge difference in usability when driven hard for me. For reference, I have had Barefaced SC/Midget, Vanderkley and Berg 112s and a Bergantino CN212. The CN212 was great too, but overkill for what I needed. The Nv115, bizzarely for a sealed cab, seems to have more lows too. BTW this is with the M900 too, 4/5 string tuned down half a step.

 18. Shan't be using Andertons again! Pre-ordered weeks ago and they still don't have initial stock.
 19.
A tuner is a worm drive, nothing like using a single nut. Why do cars have left hand threaded hub nuts do you think?
I can't tell if you are intentionally missing the point or not
 20. Swapped straps with Nik, nice random little Basschat deal and we both now have more suitable straps! Great stuff, cheers dude.
 21. Only locks I have had fail are the Dunlop type, fortunately I have always caught the bass. Hardly surprising, giving the design! The idea of everything resting on that one pin freaks me out completely. Schaller design certainly makes the most sense, with the lock fitting over the button, as opposed to on top. Keeps the bass closer to the strap as well and comfier as a result. Tighten the nut on the strap properly (ask someone strong if you need to...) and it won't come loose, just as many things tightened with nuts don't come loose! Rotation arguement is bizzare as the lock fitting should not rotate at all, if it is then you are doing it wrong and it's no surprise it loosens! Using the same logic, why aren't our tuners falling off our headstock all the time But, I don't use either. I use grolsch washers. Why? Never failed and for all my pulling and swinging around I can't see how they would in normal use.
 22.
The green one looks cool IMO. Room for improvement in the knob department though. Those cheap knobs are só ugly on any instrument. They look utilitarian, fine on a piece of rack gear but not on a fine instrument.
Its all about taste really. Dingwall Canadian basses use plastic knobs on anything but their £5000+ Prima instruments, but I can't imagine them with anything else as they just fit the look perfectly. Sometimes metal knobs look really naff, as can wooden knobs. Its all about the overall look. For example, I think they look really good on the white one
 23. Fantastic prices all round, those Sterling's wont have been overpriced at £200 more a piece! nice one
 24. Nope, I love the look of those
 25. B3K's and B7K's do sound different, not sure why as like you say flat they should sound the same. Same with the Vintage actually, I found that pedal almost unusable for my tastes on its own, just too woolly.
