1. to be fair, it looks like a genuine listing, its just the scottish location and low price, iv emailed him anyways, il post back if/when he gets back to me
2. im gunna make out that i have family where he lives, so i can pick it up. lets see what the reply is
3. well iv only got one, but i dont think i need another! depite fears my hands were struggling with 5 strings, it turns out it was my bike causing the discomfort! so i'm once again smitten Iv downsized alot with effects though over the past year, i now have one, and thats not even been delivered yet
4.
Ha will do, but doubt it will happen, having now played it my comments are: True bypass, blue LED so strong it almost blinded me, absolute silent knob turning, no crack hiss or hum even at top volume, jack plugs are very firm and solid, very transparent, distorts at full compression in a nice way. Very plug and play, which is what I like. I think Silent Fry has another pcb board up for sale and a booster pedal, judging this one it's definitely top notch. Sorry about getting in before you - you've got to be quick in this game :-)
that made me laugh dont worry about it mate, iv missed out on quite a few pedals recently due to being a slow bugger, ah well, just grabbed myself a nice little distortion to cheer me up!
5. dude if you dont like the sei, then you dont like it, dont try n force yourself to, i think what me and others are saying is that you would be very silly to trade it for a thumb bass as the sei is worth WAY more at the moment, but if you really want a thumb again, sell the sei, pocket a load of cash AND get a thumb
6. easy on the bumping!
7. so your the arse that just beat me to it! let me know if you dont get along with it
8. yeah its perfectly fine, just funny!
9.
Why all the Warwick bashing?
nothing wrong with warwicks mate, its their value at the moment i think is being bashed this sei is worth twice as much if not more than a thumb in the current market
10. dude do not trade this for a bolt on thumb, you will lose so much money! sell iti first, and then buy a thumb
11. i wish id gone for the blowtorch now, i miss it!
12.
Kev, remember that the outboard preamps are only for passive basses or instruments you can run passive. Can you bypass the preamp on your Ray? They don't do anything for an active bass, just overboost it. Rich.
yeah i know, if i went for one of these id be mainly wanting to try it for the AGS function plus, i could be doing a little project with my stagg p bass that no bristolians wish to relieve me of...
13.
You need to go back to school mate - since when has 199 (listed price of Tone Hammer) been half of 299 (listed price of MBII)?
only place i can find the microbass II is at the gallery, for £299 bassmerchant do the tonehammer for £149
14. with the price of the tone hammer being as low as it is, EBS should be worrying, big time. i talked to alex at the gallery, he wouldnt price match £149 for me , but he'd go as low as £162 shipped
15. how the driving test go mate?? and more importantly, hows the bass?
16. do you have mine now, Josh?
17. if you would have put this up about 2 weeks ago, i would have had it in a flash
18. i dont think iv ever listened to another p bass before and wanted it!
19. thats sounds brilliant
20. i think il wait until bassmerchant have them back in stock rather than paying an extra £50 for being impatient!
21.
I just don't understand why they can't just put a bit more time and effort into them, the shapes are a bit of an acquired taste and i'm sure somebody would like them, but why on earth they can't put a decent bridge on there so that you can set the intonation and put some metal ferrules into the string holes so you don't f*** the wood up is completely beyond me. And for a custom 'luthier', and i use the word very loosely, you'd think he'd take a bit more care with actually crafting the bodies, every single wishbass i've seen looks like it's been done with a chisel, sharp edges everywhere, nothing looks even and like it's been done properly, they're just an absolute shambles.
i think your completly missing the point check the guy's ebay feedback, he has many happy customers
22. probably because i can't post it
