I'm expecting an Aguilar Octamizer this week, but I still love the old Boss OC-2 - there's just something about that sound that works so well.
Wasn't the OC-2 voted Basschat's most popular pedal last year? Ironic that it's not a bass pedal...
From a project I didn't have time to finish.
a set of 5 'in line' Gotoh tuners for a Jazz or Precision. Smaller size then the normal 'elephant ears'. Brand new and unused. Come with all 5 screws at no extra cost.
Will work on a 4 string bass if you feel that you might need a spare!

Reduced price of £40.
I think eBay had it right: "For parts or not working: An item that does not function as intended or is not fully operational"
Certainly doesn't work for me.

Up for grabs is my original EBS Octabass. perfect woking order but no box.
It's the old, grey version (not the triple mode) but still does a lovely low end and tracks really well.

Bump for a lovely bass. Blade stuff is seriously under-rated. If it had one more string then I'd be tempted.
It's got the 'pre lawsuit' headstock too. Nice!

that was actually my VT2 which I sold on partly because it was HUGE

Yeah, it is huge. Sounds even 'huger' than it looks.
I've never been overly impressed with any digitech kit, I've had lots of good Boss and MXR kit, and some good Behringer stuff. You can pick up used EBS pedals on here for not too much - they're REaLLY good.
This: http://basschat.co.uk/topic/157944-fs-dha-vt1-bass-drive-pedal-l6500-inc-delivery-in-uk/ Should do everything that you need it to.
we do lots of Hillsong stuff too. I tend to use a Dave Hall VT2 for small amounts of crunch. I think there's a VT1 flying about on here for sale. Occasionally I'll fire up the big muff, but for the most part it's the VT2. It's just lovely.
The ashdown James Lomenzo Hyperdrive is also really good at 'gentle' distortion too - they can be had second-hand for reasonable money too.
I use them to whip students who can't spell properly. Sometimes I'll flagellate the ones with bad punctuation too, but only if I'm feeling really cantankerous.
Yup, I'm quite happy with the BSY600 (Boss SYB-5 synth bass pedal clone). Makes the squelchy/farty/synth noise that I want it to and for the amount I use it (one drone note per set) it's a no-brainer. It is however, held together with soup.
I used one a while ago and found it actually rather good. as above, would have preferred a tap tempo function, but for making wobb;y noises whilst playing bass chords it did the job. HTH.
With power supplies for Dave's stuff I've found that older 'transformer' types do a much cleaner job than modern 'switched mode' (smaller and cheaper) ones as they're a bit noisy. My dha VT2 I'm using an old 12v supply from a flat screen monitor (as it's centre positive) and the pedal is dead quiet. Happy days.
It bugs me when people ask me to play some 'funky bass bit' in the middle of a song that just isn't funky.
I suppose using 'funky' as an adjective to describe any prominent bassline hacks me off.
