    As an experiment I recently played a gig using my Fusion to power two (2) 4-ohm Schroeder 1212Ls wired in series to be 8-ohms. Despite the theoretical drop in power it was punchy and loud. Perhaps I should bring this set-up to the SE Bash.

    By making some special cables 4 x 8-ohm cabs can be wired in series/parallel to give a total 8-ohms although whether the final result gives you what you think you'll get is questionable as it takes no account of the power handling/distribution among the individual drivers. The other thing to consider is whether the cabs are all in-phase.

    There is nothing to stop you using an 8-ohm speaker however the max output would be just over half say around 90-watts when fully wound up. You could however add an additional 8-ohm cab to get the max. BTW [i]"ohmage"[/i] is not an approved technical term, the correct description is [i]"impedance"[/i]

Used one for a while then sold it to another BCer. No idea who made them. Very, very rare. This one is surplus to my needs and available.
