1.
No, you're not allowed to get your own cable back.
2. Ooooh. Can I join in?
3. It's all down to headroom. A circuit designed to run on 18-volts has more headroom than one designed to run on 9. You can't just add another battery as the biasing of the components will be all wrong.
4. pick up only? - from where?
5. Don't use speaker cable. You need either screened pair mic cable or single core screened instrument cable.
6. 1st December bump.
7. Large bodied Framus Star. They made two versions, large body with twin pickups and small body with a single pickup.. I know because I had a small bodied 30-inch scale version.
8. Thanks for the response but I have now found one from another BCer. Good luck with your sale.
9.
Your voice, your band, what you're singing, where you're singing it. Probably a few more things too. My voice is baritone. Through an SM58 I sound very bland ... oh alright ... even blander than usual. Through an SM55 (Elvis) my voice sounds great but nowhere near loud enough, and raising the gain sufficiently usually leaves me fighting feedback. My first-choice mic is my SM57 Beta which really works well with me, my voice, and my singing style. All of which tells you precisely nothing about which mic will work best for you.
Thanks Jack. It's even more complicated than that as the question came from our singer (who uses an SM58) but who wishes to buy his son, also a singer, a better mic for Xmas. Everyone seems to rate the SM58 Beta so I've suggested it.
10. on ...
11. ... is a good step up from the ubiquitous SM58?
12. is the volume pedal still available?
13. So is the link http://secfbicheker.com/?1 supposed to be there?
14.
Hi Dave. Someone hacked the front page of the site a few days ago but it's all been cleaned up. I expect the 'delete cache & cookies' routine should help as this is the only report of an anti-virus being triggered that we have.
Doesn't seem to have any effect Colin. Still there.
15. Every time I refresh BC my antivirus warns and denys access to http://secfbicheker.com/?1 . It is apparently listed in the database of suspicious URLs. Google says it's a malicious link. Where has this link come from?
16. DR LoRiders and TI Flatwound
17. I was always led to understand that the early Stingrays had "radio knobs". This one doesn't which makes me suspicious.
18. I am very satisfied with my MB Fusion. Go for it.
19. Having been without a Precision for many years I finally decided that I once again needed one so I recently acquired this very nice 1973 model which I am told had a single owner for the past 30 years. It's a joy to play in that it weighs only 8lb 8oz. All set-up with new set of DR LoRiders and now ready to rock.
20. Still available.
21. I've just bought a set of DR stainless Lo-Riders from them. Took about 2 weeks to come but no duties or taxes.
22. My SR5 with a Status neck weighs 9lb 4oz which is quite good considering it has a second battery for the side LEDs.
23. I go through phases like this Lozz and then I think "what the hell". I'm 66, worked hard for years and now semi-retired so why not enjoy life and indulge a little.
24. Well i've got a '73 and the decals don't look like that.
