1. What colour is it? Better still...pics?
 2.
my opinion is that sellers should just have their real location under their avatar, confusion gone, and permeneant rather than having to say it in every sale thread...
Then why have you just got a famous bass manufacturer in yours?
 3.
Strange old place sometimes
4.
That`s a mental statement. People list it as collect only due to laziness?. Well ignorant? I have put stuff for sale on here as collect due to the fact I work all week and don`t have the time to post or the packaging materials to pack the stuff with. I also had a bad experiance a couple of years ago when stuff I sent went walkies: no end of hassle.....
Hey man horses for courses. To answer the points you have raised though. You can arrange for the courier to collect items from you work if you wish. There are a multitude of places where you can pick up free packing materials. Retailers are always chucking out cardboard boxes. If you don't have a box big enough, make one. If you send you items insured there's no problem if the item gets damaged or goes walkabout. And I said it would be ignorant to presume that your buying market is based only in your locality. Peace bro.
 5.
That would be bizarre. locking a thread in the market place. Has it happened before?
It has indeed. The lockee was telling me about it only the other day.
 6.
A BOTB in a place with a sound limiter? Doh!
Would that be a Pillow Fight Of The Bands?
 7.
MB1. Theres Nothing wrong with "Try Before You Buy!"...it can be quite difficult trying to find a mains socket half way round the M25?
+10000 but in some circumstances (like living 500+ miles away from the world epicentre ) it might be a tad unfeasible. Which is why "collect only" ads lose out.
 8. It's listed on here too. The seller is originally from Aberdeen.
 9.
If I list anything for sale, I put my location in the thread. I also think there's a case for putting your actual location in the profile again. I think the location is in the sub-header it may put people who are a long way away off buying the said amp/cab. I don't think enough people are prepared to consider shipping it - OK, so with insurance it might cost anywhere between £20 - £50 with somebody like p4d or interparcel, but there's no reason why it can't be done.
+1 I really can't understand (other than laziness) why so many folk list items as collect only (ebay is especially bad) it's almost like they don't want to sell their gear. It's real easy to box things up and organise collection - in fact I enjoy it (as anyone who's bought anything big off me will testify). I think it is well ignorant to expect that this forum is just for people that live in 50 mile radius of yourself. Ok the shipping adds a bit to the final cost but it is easily recouped when you sell the item on again. Having said that all, I've sold gear on here when alternatives are readily available only because the alternatives won't ship.... also I think you can make intuitive judgements on the condition of an item who's seller can't be arsed to ship. So it's swings and roundabouts for me.
 10. Hey Greg. Welcome to the forum. Apologies for the acidic tone of my reply before. At first glance it looked like someone had signed up for the sole purpose of placing a link to an online store. I see that you have been involved in some relevant banter too and are therefore most likely one of us. Enjoy your stay mate and keep dodging those sarcy (sarcastic) comments - coz that's how we roll mofo.
 11. Sounds to me like you need some Rage. Not very technical but by fnck it hits the spot when you're down. Turn it right up!

 17.
I spent years finding this bass in sunburst red....
Should we tell him?
 18. +1 They're just saying it's more helpful if you supply pics... like everyone else does.
mb1 bro ive sold most of my basses on here without pics.
Inexperienced forumites might buy on spec but other more seasoned guys will think "why should I buy from him if he can't be arsed to do even that" or "what's he got to hide". Oh the irony.
