1. Hi All Selling a brand new and unused set of Sennheiser IE4 in ear headphones. These came with my new wireless system but I don't need them. They include three different earpiece sizes to fit all canals. I used the IE4 a couple of years back and they provide a crystal clear interpretation of the music with a reasonable amount of bass, great for listening, monitoring or whatever. RRP 54.95 Selling for £35 posted Happy Bidding! Danny
2.
Ts9 with bass? I need to give it a go.
TS808 is your only man
3. Hi All Does anybody know if there is a company out there who make an aftermarket bridge with mutes (a la the Stingray Classic bridge) Preferably Fender style/dimensions Cheers! D
4. I have an Ibanez Promethean P5110c 1x10 combo, with a matching P110c extension can. Superb rig for its size, 500w at 4ohms but I believe both items have been discontinued
5. I usually balance my pickups using the PFL facility on a good mixer. Plug the bass straight into a mixer, play each string and note the signal strength of each. Then I raise/lower the pickups until all output readings match right across the strings. I do this after a good setup i.e. truss rod adjustment, bridge saddle height and intonation adjustment.
6. What's the benefit to having a balanced output (Thumpinator) as opposed to unbalancer (Micro Thumpinator)?
7. Sounds like a Jazz Bass actually!
8.
The was a band in the late 80's called The Adventures. They had a couple of hits and an album but they soon faded.
As in 'Broken Land'? They were from around my neck of the woods. I sometimes gig with their former lead guitarist/songwriter. D
9. Is the E string saddle on your bridge significantly lower than the others? Next thing I'd look at is distance between pickup and strings, string by string. If all good with the above I would look at EQ.
10. Not everyone in a bar wants to hear a band tho. A lot of people want to be able to conduct a conversation without the usually deafening pub band drowning them out. For that reason, a seperate section of a bar usually works to keep both sets of punters happy.
11. What's the difference between the Thumpinator and Micro Thumpinator? Considering adding one of these to my live setup
12. Colour me interested if you are moving on your Pino

17. Hi All For sale here is a bridge taken from a 1962 replica Jazz Bass, built by John at Bravewood Guitars in England. A lot of you will be familiar with the Bravewood name - high quality, period-correct bridge with slotted saddles and flat head screw adjustments. Comes with installation screws. Will fit any Fender style Jazz or P Bass with standard measurements. Some minor pitting but in great working order. Would make a great addition to a 60s style bass, slotted saddle bridges are not found often nowadays. How does £20 posted sound? Cheers Danny
18. Hi All Selling brand new unused Neutrik XLR connectors - both male and female. I have a surplus of these so selling in packs of 10 (Male, Female or a mix of both) Proper heavy duty silver variants (product codes are NC3MXX and NC3FXX). These as you know are industry standard, tour grade connectors. Bought from Studiospares a couple of years ago for a project that never materialised, have receipt to prove genuine etc. So - pack of 10 posted to you for £20 all in? How does that sound? Cheers! Danny
19. Hi all For sale here is a set of tuning keys in brand new condition, taken from a Squier Classic Vibe Jazz Bass neck. Great solid keys that hold their tuning perfectly, I believe Chinese made. They come with ferrules and all screws. Would make a great addition to any bitsa, project bass or as a replacement for flimsy tuners on a budget bass. Will throw in a string tree and screw too if you like. How does £25 posted sound to you? Cheers! Danny
