    The control knobs are wrong for a start. Should be flat top knurled ones.

    Is that a replacement pickguard? I thought there would have been holes for a thumbrest in front of the pickup near the E string on 70’s P basses?

    It was the Mike Watt model I tried, albeit a righty played upside down. Lovely slim neck. Defo based on a Gibson.
