  1. Thanks guys. Will take a tape measure along if its still for sale.
  2. I spotted a Michael Poller bass for sale last time I was in Glasgow. I’m unsure whether it is a 3/4 or 1/2 size bass as is displayed up on a wall at the moment. Is there any easy way to work out which size it is?
  3. I’m liking that. Any idea of the tone you expect from this baby?
  4. Could be interesting as a lined fretless.
  5. The orange looks killer. Be nice to see it strung up and hear if it’s a player.
  6. Just a bump to say that I am now offering postage within UK if buyer organises and pays for courier at their own risk. I have sourced a suitable hard bass case and box to ship.
  7. Any body shots minus the pickguard?
  8. Oh my. That’s my favourite look for a jazz bass; 3TSB with no pickguard and an all-maple neck with white block inlays. Going for a lie down 🤪
  9. It looks like a high-end build so wouldn’t be cheap. Saying that, Sting may have ordered it as a one-off as no such range appears on the website. Either that or Mayones approached Sting with one and now the enquiries and orders will start rolling in to the company.
  10. The decal is clearly stuck on and not under the lacquer. Im a lefty and have owned three MIJ jazz basses and these only say Fender on headstock but pretty sure all right-hand models always include the model name too. Tuners are completely wrong.
  11. 1972 P bass https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F222888977643
  12. 1965 P bass in UK! https://reverb.com/uk/item/10910562-left-handed-fender-precision-bass-1965-sunburst
  13. Fender ‘57RI MIJ https://www.zikinf.com/annonces/dispannonce.php?annonce=1541744
  14. I didnt know about this Sire model. Looks great.
  15. Like the spalted maple finish
  16. Is the current colour choice same as original finish?
  17. They do have a reputation for being outstanding fretless-wise.
  18. How is the balance and weight? Is it short scale?
  19. Spotted that Dusty Hill model too. The hardware a bit too reliced for my liking. That HB-50 looks cool for the price.
  20. +1 for the ‘buy to try’ approach. Bought many basses online that would never appear in my nearby guitar stores. Some I keep for a while, others get moved on much quicker, but Ive learned a lot about neck profiles, pickup placement, body wood tone and scale length.
