  8. Received a message from Mark earlier. All Access Pass Coming To An End Hi there! It's Mark from Talkingbass! This is just a quick email just to let you know that as of June 1st, the All Access Pass will unfortunately be coming to an end. Talkingbass is about to go through some huge changes and the All Access Pass won't work as a service within that new framework. The All Access Pass has worked well as a way for many people to take a glimpse at the courses on a temporary basis, often with a view to purchasing a course. But the service will be closing as of June. This gives, those of you still subscribing, three months in which to make the most of the pass and finish up any courses you're trying out at the moment. I'll be sending out some more emails closer to that time so keep an eye out for those. The new developments at Talkingbass will be revealed later in the year but I'm really excited about all the great features we'll be bringing, many of which have been suggested by the community. Cheers Mark

  9. I have an earlier model for sale here and IMO they're one of the best EF available....and I've bought a few. This is the second one I've bought and sold, only because I'm not gigging (is anybody?) and only use pedals at home. Whether it is "the best" one available I can't say but spending twice the money for negligible gain doesn't make sense to be. Certainly "good enough" I'd say..
  10. If we've learnt anything at the numerous tests at Bass bashes is that even bass players/owners struggle to tell the differences. I think the closest we've come to any agreement is that Rosewood fretboards tend to be "warmer" than Maple boards. Personally, I agree with @Doctor J, that looks make a difference. If I like the looks of a bass then this will influence whether I fall in love with the tones. If all of this is only a placebo effect then great...if others don't agree, so what...

  22. I haven't had to change the battery on mine (but TBH it doesn't get anywhere near enough use) - as a thought, will one 9v battery be enough to power all three pick ups over time?
  23. £200?? Ask the Mods to amend or delete the thread....
  24. No limit - 2 Unlimited
  25. To dampen the sound travelling through the party wall you could think about some heavy drapes about12" off the wall. This will muffle any noise transfer. You can find heavy drapes cheap at local charity shops - nobody wants then as most people see these as "old fashioned" but they can be a feature.
