  1. To dampen the sound travelling through the party wall you could think about some heavy drapes about12" off the wall. This will muffle any noise transfer. You can find heavy drapes cheap at local charity shops - nobody wants then as most people see these as "old fashioned" but they can be a feature.
  2. I refuse - Hue & Cry
  3. Diana - Paul Anka (again)
  4. Can you be more specific about the time and place for the handover - I need to arrange an ambush... So, so jealous...
  5. Not necessarily the loudest but when I saw UB40 at Uni of Herts the bass was turned up so loud the only instruments you could hear was the drums and bass. Couldn't hear the keys except on intros, horns hardly audible, guitars (thankfully) barely registering... Basically "CRAP!!" and it was their own sound crew.
  6. Heavy??? I tried one at Brandoni's and it felt heavier than the Warwick 5er I took with me...
  7. Found this:
  8. JOOI this is the 5050 rather than the 4040...5 string? Do you think there's any truth in this? "Only made about 40-50 of these between 1974-75."

  11. I saw Queen/ Status Quo/ Belouis Some at Knebworth 1986. Over 100,000 people - it was said that when the wind blew in the right direction it could be heard in Hatfield 8 miles away, so pretty loud.
