    I owned a PJB Suitcase for a while - people couldn't believe how bassy it was considering that it's a compact unit with 5" speakers. I'd suggest you give one a try before discounting them. The 4x7 cabs are excellent too - lightweight and powerful - you could do much worse.

    Used to be mine This is one of those "if only you knew" bits of kit. There aren't many around, very few people have tried them so only a few know how good this is. I would say it's as good as most of the competition - there must be something I haven't tried which might be better but I bet there aren't many cabs (especially at this price) which are. This is nearly half price!! Potential buyers also need to factor in that Bernard is a super nice fella with loads of amazing gear (single cut Ritter R8 - lovely!!) so you can trade in confidence. It would be criminal if this sold on eBay rather than somebody within the BC community.

    I don't think so - I was disappointed on so many levels - from the customer service to the lack of TEness. If I could get my money back , I would.

    I had the same bass - bought for aesthetic reasons really - I didn't get on with it. It felt underpowered and the tonal package was pretty limited. Yes, I know it is a vintage design so I should have guessed but it just felt "out of date". Sorry to be negative but I think that others have similar experiences which is why there are so many for sale used.
