5.
One of my favourite Youtube videos. What an excellent bassist and band!
Well, Mimes and dances, good sound though.
 6.
I don't know who "her" is, but Lewis Steinberg was the original bass player in Booker T and the MG's and played on Green Onions.
Yeah i meant Carole kaye but had one of those moments when could not rememeber a thing.
 7. There a few basses here, like Stings Hamer cruise bass and Glen Matlocks PBass, no prices though. interesting reading http://rockstarsguitars.com/index.php?c=1
 8.
Except he didn't play on Green Onions.
He didn't! don't tell me it was her again.
 9.
Silly money or not, it might also be seen as a marketing stunt for the shop. Look at the discussion it's created here in just a few hours. Now I know of another shop I've never heard of before. Can't pay for publicity like that.
Yeah but have you checked their other stuff? a lot of pricey gear.
 10. Alot of People have no hesitation paying that kind of money for a car which is worth less money five minutes after you have bought. i know a guy who i used to be in band with has a 66 SG and he looks on it as a bit of a pension.
 11. Hi, welcome to Basschat. only listened to a couple of tracks but she has a nice voice, the Black PBass looks nice.
 12.
so how about if the price was 790 is that a good deal for an S1 p bass
Still to high. there's one here for £669. but as its been pointed out. forget about the S1 switching on a Pbass. you can get a good used one for a lot less money. 13. This guy seem to be playing quite a few chords, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x3sMsp14Wy8
 14. Welcome to Basschat Pepe, you luck so and so. those are beautiful Fenders.
 15. Nice post Northstreet, sums me up to a T. i'm looking for a second band as we dont play often enough for me. unlikely though out here in the sticks.
 16.
In all fairness, why didn't you get the money before sending the bass? As it is you've just given him a nice little gift.
I think it's a Basschat trust thing. Clarky sent me a bass before my cheque had cleared.i suppose it all depends on the individual i guess.
 17. Ha Ha, how did you manage to do that to the YouTube vid? Funny,
 18. We thinking of branching out into the wedding gigs. although it would involve a few changes. i found this site just to give us a insite to what other bands are charging. http://www.1311events.net/selected_wedding_bands.html
 19.
Cutting hole sin an Ampeg is bad. You'll have to seal it really well, and you'll decrease the value. Being able to move cabs easily is totally lame and not Doom. And they'll get in the way when you are stacking 3 8x10s on their sides. And the are are only 4 sections inside.
Let me know when you are playing next and i'll open a window and have a listen.
 20.
The more cone area you have, the larger the enclosures and the more midrangey and/or overdriven your sound, the fewer watts you will need. Look at Lemmy's rig - 4x12"+4x15" plus a mere 200W valve head - and Lemmy LOUD. Alex
Wouldn't he be miked up through a large PA though?
 21. Nice one. nowt like gigging live.
