1.
Why on earth not?
I'm kind of clumsy... I mean, there are only 200 of the things, tops.
2. I bought Luke's Bass Pod. Good comms, quick delivery (despite problems with post offices), well packed, all happy. Nice guy as well. Thank you Recommended!
3. I'd guess that hiring an instrument three times would cost enough that you could get a good-enough backup for the same money. As I said, I'm guessing.
4. "I own a few of these ... " !! I forget where I heard it, but apparently these are horrible to play... I wouldn't dare pick the thing up, personally.
5.
... I was talking to the wide-to-be about the fact.
Um, I recommend you edit this comment, because her bum looks big in it...
6. I think your sale will go better if you provide pictures - especially since this is such an unusual bass. Good luck!
7.
Guys, wake up !!! £200.00 for an NT Peavey, people are askin' more for freakin' Wasburns!!! Pay Mr Brick Toilet now, now!!!
+1

9.
I agree the pre-amp could be a bit less um...cardboard? Lol it's not that bad but it's rich in the midrange I don't like. Still, it's Low-B will ring forever and it's pretty punchy. Luckily, this is the model without the silly 4 hour battery life issue they had in the early days.
I think my Cirrus BXP is one of the early ones
10.
That would be my old one? Nice innit! What a great neck! I kind of regret selling it but no point totally surrounding myself with basses I don't use.
It is indeed
11. I bought some strings from Mike. All went well, and I am a happy buyer. Thanks Mike
12. Anything on eBay with "L@@K" in the description. Even if I want it.
13. I have a Cirrus BXP four-string, plain wood. Pretty, nice neck, comfortable to play... but the electrics are not good. I also have a Fury II, which I like a lot (so far - haven't had it long).
14. Somebody tried to sell me an Enigma 5-string (claiming it was an Ibanez) last year, via Gumtree. Seemed decently made to me, but I had no faith in the seller and left it. I couldn't find anything on the web about them. Possibly the same maker/marketer, given the name? Edit 2015: http://basschat.co.uk/topic/246065-very-stripy/page__pid__2841261#entry2841261
15. What would it cost to get the crack fixed?

17. Bought some strings from Joe - a quick, easy and flawless transaction. Nice one And, a fortnight later, a footswitch. Just as clean and simple as the first one. Recommended BC seller
18. Howard made me a replacement scratchplate and trussrod cover for my Epiphone Tbird. He was very patient with my waffling and very clear about what he needed to do the work. The work is nicely done, within my budget, and quickly received. I hope to deal with him again. many thanks Mike
19.
BTW it's a Chinese knock off and to be fair he never says it's an MM
... which is what made me suspicious in the first place.
