When you've bought a bass here, and paid the money, how long is it reasonable to wait for something to happen? A week? Two weeks? I won't name the seller, at this stage. But he's had the money since 7th January, and I've had one apologetic PM (on the 19th) and nothing since.

I bought an Ibanez Ergodyne from Craig, and it was badly damaged in transit. He refunded me within 12 hours of being notified of the problem. You really can't ask for more than that. Good man.

I have some side LEDs on an Epiphone Tbird, which I think are Fretex (I bought the Tbird here with them already fitted). I think they're useful. I'd rather the end of the fitting (up by the 20th fret) was not so sharp, but that's the only criticism I have (and TBH I don't know if they are like that out of the box).

Ours has no idea about instruments (she was gobsmacked when I hammered-on a note, she didn't know you could do notes with only one hand...). But she can sing. I think people who can sing are worth training how to use the kit. Good voices are rare. That's probably no help at all. :/
