1. Just bought Chay's nice old Ibanez Roadstar. He deserves an award for rapid takedown and good repacking in the face of inappropriate cars A good transaction, a conscientious and thoughtful seller. I'd be pleased to deal with him again. Thanks!.
2. hi Site rules: you must set a price. Good luck
3. that's a radical pickup angle ;D
4. You don't see many of those...

6. ... or any kind of money. Frankly, they'd have to pay me to take it away...
7. what scale length is it, and where do you get strings? thanks
8.
I will have one with me from the impoverished (and undead) side of the family, a resurrected BB450
Is that the one I gave to Roland Rock? I'd be pleased to know it's back together, and glad someone could do something with it.
9. I bought Simon's FrankenJazz. Easy transaction, good communications, good packing. Nice guy, as well. Deal with confidence. thanks Mike
10. let me know if you decide you need a fretless J after all
11.
Welcome, learn, teach and enjoy.
Exactly! Pleased to see you
12. welcome once again to the ill behaviour
13. yowsa! Welcome aboard. My sister lives in Bristol, are you gigging much? I'd love to be playing that sort of thing
14. Two things, for me: flexibility, and the lovely noise - especially from a P-style pup. Flexibility because it can do anything a fretted can (though it's quite a bit harder, for, say, tapping), plus slides, trapping harmonics, etc.. (Not that I personally can do these things, you understand ) Practicing on fretless improves my fretted intonation, BTW. I recommend the Yamaha RBX200F as a starter, if your defret goes badly. (Also the unlined board can look very very cool, if that floats your boat. Example: http://basschat.co.u...illette%20paris . And I don't even like blue basses... )
15. I looked at it and saw this: "found this on the web, I can not say if it is for this guitar or not, but it looks very close." So, seller has a near-new bass, has a guitar shop, but doesn't know if this is the right description? Either he can't read, or he can't write. No sale.
16. What's the neck profile like? P-ish. J-ish, something else? And, any trade interest? I have a nice fretless Squier J I'm not getting on with
17.
Yes. I can believe that. All his best stuff was done in the '70s. Don't know how the 'Antmusic' and subsequent 'highwayman' thing came about, I suspect it was something they agreed to do to increase their appeal.
I seem to remember that nice Mr McLaren had something to do with all that?
18. Set of 4, good condition, bushes, no screws. Bought here for a project which is not going to happen. £12 posted.
19. I have a used Hohner Professional 5-string which is very nice (thanks Geoff . If you can find one, they seem to go for about £200.
20. Aria Sinsonido sounds pretty good. Fretless is better for the tone.
