  1. BIG NEWS! Brilliant new firmware update. Here is @Andras Szalay's announcement: Dear friends, It was one and a half years ago that the most important update of the Future Impact, Version 3.00 was released. During this time we discussed and evaluated a lot of new ideas. Now, it is time to announce the second most important update, Version 3.50. We have a huge work behind us. Over the last few months an extremely talented international team helped me, and the FI v3.50 is the result of our joint effort. Let us all recognize and applaud the members of the team: - Peter Kenney (UK): Product design, writing the User Guide , editor testing, sound design. - Gabor Lippenyi (Hungary): Product design, sound design, studio recordings, creating the video demo. - Zsolt Rammer (Hungary): PC and MAC Editor coding, graphics, sound design. - Gabor Gerenyi (Hungary): Product design, marketing. You can find all product details at MIDI products by pandaMidi. Let me cite here just a few of the most important features: - instead of the available delay time of 140 msec in models up to now, the 3.50 software allows a generous 600 msec. This gives new dimensions to your music. - delay time can be adjusted with tap tempo. - delay time can be synchronized to MIDI clock. - LFO4 can be synchronized to MIDI clock. - using a sustain pedal allows you to keep the synth sound sustained, while you can play along with the bass/guitar. - programs are compatible with the 3.0x programs (*.pr3). You can load your old *.pr3 programs into the editor, add long delay and MIDI sync features to it, and then save them in the same format. - 10 new programs in the default set replace programs 60 to 69 with sounds that let you exploit the new features. Watch the video demo showing the 10 amazing new sounds. Also you will find on our web page the FI 3.50 software upgrade with the bank of the new sounds and all documentation, naturally ALL FREE OF CHARGE! Finally, I would like to thank everyone on this forum for your help, comments, critiques, suggestions and requests. These all contributed to giving you a better product. Enjoy! Andras Szalay
  2. I’ve made a pretty decent flute patch this weekend.
  3. I’ve just updated my Flashlight patch. This will be useful for anyone who doesn’t have an expression pedal (or who does but wants the LFO depth to be at zero when the patch loads). Use the one with the suffix “no auto LFO”. https://auraplug.com/fidatabase2/downloads/flashlight/
  4. Good work on the Chaka tune. I learned this whole line on bass guitar by ear last summer and used my Future Impact/C4 to play it. I really should learn it in keys too. Such a great bass part.
  5. Here's a little Subsequent 37 thing I've just done. Not really used the 6dB filter slope much before but it works well here. Hang Tight.mp3
  6. Looks like it has gone.
  7. Think there was a used Spectrum on here that hasn’t gone yet.
  8. This is a bit late but just wanted to share that Patrick was immensely kind and sent me four feet for an Aclam pedal board for free. Many thanks.
  9. I sold AJ an expression pedal a few days ago. All sorted and paid for quickly with prompt and friendly communication. Hope it serves you well. Many thanks.
  10. Had this been creme I may well have bitten. How close to the Stingray tone does this get? The pickup is set further back than a Ray. Does the reverse P make much of a to do difference to the basic P tone?
  11. This is a reasonable comparison of a few filters. This is using the first version EBS, which sounds pretty decent.
  12. I’ve not tried the EBS one but it looks interesting. Band pass is pretty useless in bass without the ability to easily blend in the dry signal though. I also hate having trimpots that aren’t easily accessible.
  13. I’ve done a very close M82 patch for C4/Spectrum but wouldn’t give up my actual M82.
  14. There was one on one of the Facebook groups the other day. They come up fairly often.
  15. You could buy direct from disaster area.
  16. Can the blue one still be used with a mono source without thereby only coming out of one side of the headphones?
  17. Did you get it? Have you not had one yet? I love mine and paid full retail for it and still think it’s worth it.
  18. There’s a button at the back of the pedal where the ports are. Pressing that puts you in alt mode which allows you to access the alt controls and the second three presets on the toggle switch. The three shapes are just place markers instead of using names or numbers.
  19. Not interested n either of those items sadly, but am open to reasonable offers on my asking price.
