If you are recalling presets using PC messages over the C4’s USB port then the preset will be loaded in the state stored in the preset. If you want them to load in the bypass state, you’ll need to edit each preset and change the “engage/bypass state upon load” function and resave them.
That’s not true - if you’re using MIDI over USB then you can send PC messages to the C4 via its USB port to directly access its internal presets.
Do you mean the Future Impact? If so, all the sounds are fully replaceable so you can fill it with only the sounds you'll use. Also, you can also use it to replace a bunch of single-box effects.
I think there’s a power option you need to switch in one of the devices. Can’t remember if it’s the C4’s “skip power test upon boot” option or something in the DMC. There’s discussion about it on either TB or the Gear Page.
I’m possibly heading down to Bath tomorrow until later in the week so could drop off en route from Sheffield or have the bass with me around the South West for the week if anyone is interested. Speak up if so.
EDIT - didn’t happen in the end.
I’ve still got two of these. Probably need to go in the next two weeks at my next paper recycling day as they are now cluttering up my lounge. Any takers?
Offering up a nicely broken-in set of GHS Precision flats in 45-105 gauge, cut for a standard Fender Precision/Jazz. (There’s plenty of extra winding left on the A string so that you can force the break angle lower to eliminate the common buzzy Fender A string behind the nut.)
Price includes UK postage.
🤮 That hurts my head. I used to get annoyed catching my hand on the audio cable on my Rhodes. This is my idea of hell. I’m glad, as I’d probably spend a fortune on modular if I ever got into it. Happy to never go near it.
Please don’t tempt fate, I still haven’t opened a synth I bought from them in January and dread to think the nightmare of having to deal with a post-Brexit return. I actually saved £1400 by buying from them so there are definitely some positives.
