  1. Same patch as above but with drive on the mod wheel:
  2. I've tweaked a bit and added these: https://soundcloud.com/peter-kenney-750235819/qm-thriller-8
  3. Thanks, Lee. These are now up on the file share site, both individually and in my collected patches folder.
  4. I’d be willing to put money on it that it will only sustain the notes that were generated by midi in the first place. My guess is that you want this to create a freeze function for notes triggered by bass. It won’t do that. Have patience, my friend. That feature will one day come.
  5. Great price for one of these and a top bloke to deal with.
  6. In celebration of my birthday here are a couple of free patches. I’m nowhere near a PC today so am uploading via google drive links. I’ll add them to the file share when I’m home. Thriller: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1vc3aYa8bH_S61WiiN-cjcc7rAyJCeCTd/view?usp=drivesdk Flashlight: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1h0CMF9R4HmTyoUZUkWo77OCT1rUlyuGB/view?usp=drivesdk
  7. @GisserD what are the dimensions of your compact Future Impact housing? (Obviously it’s by no means a 1590a but it’s a lot of synth in a relatively small box.)
  8. Already on hold for me. This will be my second time with this. I want to try running it before the Future Impact and C4 to see if it will improve the tracking even more by having even response across the strings. If it doesn’t do the trick then I’ll be happy to sell it on as I don’t use compression elsewhere.
  9. I’m tempted to buy a second one just to get it put into one of @GisserD‘s compact housings. But then I’d also want a new v3-decal one, especially as I worked on it.
  10. Then I’d suggest having a play around with the parameters and tweaking it to your taste.
  11. Towards the end of the clip I morph the patch, increasing the decay and cutoff which lets more high end frequencies through. Yes, it was intentional.
  12. Thriller attempts, gated and triggered envelopes respectively:
  13. What distortion? Do you mean clipping of the audio? The overdrive is switched on but is on the minimal setting. You instead might be referring to the high-end frequencies when the filter is opened (you can set the envelope depth or cutoff lower to remove some of these. Or you might be referring to the pulse width modulation in the square waves which is adding some harmonic movement to the sound; again, you could take this out.
  14. I’ve programmed decent envelope filter and phaser sounds; it’ll do 2- and 4-stage phasing. Chorus is possible (though isn’t stereo and there are only two delay lines so more exotic quad chorus probably isn’t possible). It’ll easily do what your boss synth does only way better. Check my patches for examples:
  15. I’ve added the above new patches to the file share platform and updated my collected folder accordingly.
  16. Here are some new patches. 1-6 are subtle variations, combined into 1 sound file. 7, 8 and especially 9 is where the interesting stuff happens (towards the end of the track).
