  1. Cool. I highly recommend patch 86, though I'm biased.
  2. If yours is a used one, then the patches may be completely different anyway as they are fully interchangeable. Hooking up to the editor will tell you what's on there.
  3. Yes, they are now 21-29 of the v3.5 factory set.
  4. Speaking of which, if anyone knows the current whereabouts of this one, I’d love to get it back, was mine for about 11 years.
  5. Thank you! I wonder how consistent they are piece to piece; my Sterling was the nicest neck I’ve played (though perhaps equal to my current Lakland).
  6. Thanks! That's cool. I was leaning towards 21.5mm-23.5mm for my build so am starting to feel like that's a good choice. Any USA Sterling players who could supply those measurements?
  7. Not quite a Sterling profile. The nut width is the same (1.5”) but the carve is a bit different. They’re close though. Had both side by side years ago.
  8. Is there anyone who owns one of these 4-string basses (the USA Sterling or Stingray SLO Special) with access to callipers who could measure the neck depth at the 1st and 12th fret for me. I’d be most grateful as EBMM don’t seem to be replying. @hiram.k.hackenbacker?
  9. No problem. Check out the whole album and the then the follow-up, “Thrust”; Paul Jackson’s basslines are brilliant.
  10. “Chameleon” off Herbie Hancock’s album “Head Hunters”. You’re in for a treat.
  11. If you weren’t so far away, I’d let you try mine. used one on eBay: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Source-Audio-Collider-Delay-Reverb-Effects-Pedal-/154797845150?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=710-127635-2958-0
  12. Source Audio Collider.
  13. Sounded great in your hands too. I love hearing how different the same instrument can sound when played by different people.
  14. @CameronJ were you still looking for these?
  15. Any chance of a clip?
  16. Looks like it could be 4.3kg.
  17. I’ll measure it later on. I’m guessing around 4kg based on the weight of my other basses.
  18. Trying to declutter my brain a bit really and free up some money for other stuff (itching to order a new Rhodes as it’s something I know I’ll cherish but they’re not cheap). Looking forward to seeing what Jon’s created for you.
  19. I think I might be mentally unwell again. As I mentioned, the PJ thing isn’t maybe the best setup for me. I’m finalising my Shuker build which will be a straight P with likely a 38.5mm nut. I have a PJ MIDIBass on order, again with a 38mm nut (though not even sure that’ll ever get built as it’s been over two years since I put a deposit down on it). I also have a straight P (but with a 41mm nut) to tide me over.
  20. Might have to make sure I am soon. Thanks!
  21. Definitely get a Hub and MIDI controller and you’ll get easy access to 128 presets.
  22. Super jealous, love to play one of these at some point before I die.
  23. @thebrig guessing this doesn't fit your needs, despite the camouflaged J pickup.
  24. I’m finding that I want to play Ps with heavy flatwounds. These sound great but end up being too heavy to play at the bridge pickup so kind of negate having a PJ for me. I think I’d be better off with a separate P and J, hence this beauty is up for sale. I ordered this new directly from Lakland and got it in summer 2020 (but still haven’t got around to taking the film off the pickguard). Anyone who’s tried these will know that Lakland make some of the nicest necks out there and this is no exception. Beautiful and a doddle to get around on due to the slim nut and satin finish. This has the full size Hipshot tuners on (standard wind) rather than the Ultralites. Nice and beefy P bass pickup (one of their own design) and a burpy J bridge pickup. Alder body in Olympic White. Rosewood fretboard with bird's eye maple dots. Quartersawn maple neck. The J pickup is painted in the same finish as the body. 37.5mm at nut, 22mm at 1st fret, 24.25mm at 12th fret. 10” radius. @dub_junkie can probably attest to how nice this is as I let him have a play on it when he bought a bass off me a few months back. Strung with Labella 760FL flats (which seem to offer the best compromise for playing over either pickup) and recently set up by Jon Shuker. I’ve noticed a small lacquer crack around one of the neck heel screw rings. See picture. Weight is 4.3kg. Collection from Sheffield preferred. Possible delivery/meet-up around Yorkshire, on the route between Sheffield and the North-East or on the route from Sheffield to Bath. Please ask and I’ll see what’s feasible. I'm not going to post this. Drop me a line if you have any questions. Here’s a taste of what it sounds like as a P (direct into a Focusrite Scarlett 2i4): Rhodes Herb type riff with Lakland bass.mp3
