1. LM2 sold to Minty Fresh Death pending handover.
2. They don't hang around, this lot replied.
3. Please note - collection only Selling my GK Neo 2x12 cab. Works fine but missing castors and a bit scuffed. now reduced to £240 Also also, my DHA Dual Custom RM rack mount overdrive. In good condition, comes with power supply and is fitted with a Mullard Cryo ECC81 in the first stage for a warmer, more vintage overdrive than the stock EHX 12ax7. £120 Collection from Berkeley, Gloucestershire will be required. No car so can't get these to a post office.
4. This is England.
5.
Did you pass your bike test?
Yep, and bought a GSX750f in need of some fuel system work, so could use some cash to put in the "get the bike running fund"
6. It comes with a battered hard case. It does the job, is covered in stickers and has one broken latch. Or you can have a "rockbag" gig bag, up to you
7. Not to mention that he plays it all while quite drunk, usually
8. Ok, now £400. I can not afford to go any lower, if it doesn't sell here for £400 then its on its way to ebay.
9.
Like it - downloading Punk in Drublic as we speak
I'd recommend the Decline, its one track but its nearly 20 mins long, and its brilliant
10.
Blimey! I can't do that Re: punk, its fantastic live music, really gets pulses racing although there's good (Pistols, Stranglers, Damned, Ruts, Buzzcocks etc) and bad (Oi bands, American-pseudo punk etc). Sorry for self-serving ad here, but - if you like punk and you have a couple of minutes to spare - check out my band Kismetik on Myspace for some fast punk mixed up with surf/psychobilly guitar and even an Ennio Morricone-inspired punk hoedown (Drunk at the Wake). If anyone likes it and lives in London, we're on at the Bullet bar in Camden tonight at 9.30pm Cheers Clarky
Well, the good and bad there is a matter of taste really, I love bands like NOFX, NoMeansNo, Decendents, Bad Religion etc, which may well fall under your american-pseudo punk bracket...
11. Replied. Still for sale at this time, get it while its lukewarm!
12. Its not a substitute for the real thing... Its a totally different experience and is certainly challenging, but more in terms of fast thinking. Guitar hero et al seems to be a progression onwards from those Simon memory games. Music came into it and then we got Parappa the Rappa, then Um Jammer Lammy, now Guitar Hero and Rock Band. Mind you, if I had a choice of what I had to entertain myself with on a desert island, I'd pick gaming over bass any day of the week, so I'm probably biased!
13. Bump - now reduced to £450! I'm taking my motorcycle test on Wednesday and I need some cash for a VFR
14. Yep, I have a Status Jazz neck which is on my parts Precision bass. Very comfy profile, ever so slightly chunkier than my Fender Jazz neck. It has a gloss finished so can get slightly sticky, but its not too bad. Lots of sustain and very even tone, with a slightly glassy top end probably down to the composite fingerboard. Very well made, build quality is fantastic. It doesn't have as much growl as a wood neck, it seems to have smoothed the tone off a bit in general. Wood necks seem to emphasise the mids more in my experience.

DHA VT1 EQ-Bass-Drive

I tried a bit of valve swapping with my VT2 Dual Custom RM, and eventually settled on a Mullard. Here's my brief thread comparing Mullard, RCA and Phillips valves: http://www.finnbass.com/showthread.php?t=2029
16. Why indeed it does, sir, with the bridge soloed a touch it provides plenty of honk with both pups on its smooth as butter, and grooves like a plough. Great slap sound, too. A very fine bass in general!

Show us your rig!

I think the 3 had a graphic EQ and the 4 had regular tone controls.
18. I tried to sell my Status Jazz neck on here recently for around £200, but didn't get any bites. I think it may just be the case that no one was looking for one at the time though, as I think it was a very fair price. If its in good condition (mine has a couple of marks to the laquer) you could ask for up to £260 I think, at least.
What bass is that? the hardware looks like a Ovation Magnum, but the body's different...
It is an Ovation Magnum. Magnum 3s and Magnum 4s had a more traditional shape compared to the earlier 1 & 2 series basses.
20. You know the score. Its a Jazz, does exactly what it says on the tin Its a '99 Standard Jazz, so no S1 switch. Sounds and plays great. I need the cash, so it has to go. Collection from Berkeley, Gloucestershire, or Bristol, or I can meet within a reasonable driving distance. No postage I'm afraid. Some marks on the neck, pictured, which don't affect playability. Some buckle rash also pictured. Straplocks and a D tuner are fitted, I don't have the original bits anymore.
21. Dano Cool Cat. Simple, but effective. Blends well with bass.
22. I would be more concerned about not being able to play on games consoles, to be honest...
