Now £120!
2. As it says on the tin really. It's 18 years old judging by a date I found on the ply. It's aluminium skinned and rock solid, suitable for a 3u rack sized unit (previously cased my Hartke). The lid separates from the main part, so it's possible to use as a live in case. £35 collected from Rochdale, will consider posting. 3. Bit of a swiss army knife this one. Used once, still in completely original packaging with manuals and PSU - it may as well be brand new. It does all sorts this thing, including level conversion, phantom power, feedback suppression, compression, delay, subsonic filter and a noise gate. The only time it was used was on a big PA job where we had to have a set of speakers half way down the hall, so it was used for it's delay feature and worked great. However, it is only a one channel thing, so it will only do one thing at once. £60 posted and it's yours.
4. As my dad's decided he's holding onto his Peterson now, we've decided to let go of his HH Studio 60 bass combo. It's in very good condition for it's age, sounds great and has no issues with it. Plenty of volume and it's flexible enough for a range of tones and sounds. £100 collected from Rochdale takes it. 5. Bump for pics
6. Bump for pics, also I've put it back in a 2u rack case. It's better suited to the amp and makes it more manageable. The case is missing a foot, Spider sent me a replacement but it was the wrong size so I've just left it. The other flight case is available in a separate sale if anyone wants it though. 7. Withdrawing this one. Decided I like it too much!
8. Fully aware, just not in a position at this immediate moment to get some. They'll follow asap
9. If you're looking at this, there's a pretty good chance you'll know what it is. Quite rare, 1x12 EV driver, varnished wooden case, sounds great. Selling this one on behalf of my dad, he's ran it for the last 15 years or so without fault, and it's recently had a service so is in tip top condition internally. Externally it has been used for a living, I'm going to do some cleaning up of the case itself, but it does have some marks on there and one or two of the corners are missing, but in no way does it affect the way this thing sounds. If I had the space / money for it, I'd have it myself! £350 from Rochdale, Lancs takes it.
10. Selling a pair of Studiomaster Subs, 1x15s and ported. 300 watts a side at 8ohm. They're in great condition, don't weigh too much and sound great. Selling as upgraded to an active sub (and a smaller car!). £120 for the pair from Rochdale, Lancs NOW £100
11. As it says on the tin really. I'm selling a Peavey CS1000 power amp. It sounds fine, and powers up and I've gigged it a couple of times. The issue lies somewhere inside. It gets to a point where it gets warm, and one channel starts to lose volume and trips the thermal protection (hence the losing volume). It only does this whilst DDT is activated. However, when my amp tech turned DDT off, he said that hell started to break loose with sparks flying and such. From what he was saying, it could be something or nothing, but the amp ran my subs which I've since upgraded to an active sub, so I just want it out of the way. £50 from Rochdale, Lancs takes it.
12. Oh and it's a neo driver cab too, 500 watt driver at 8ohms, with a 3 way tweeter. This means it's fairly light, AND loud.
13. I'm selling my Hartke 1x15 HyDrive cab. I've had it for less than a year and it's absolutely great, in pristine condition. Only reason for sale is due to the downsizing on my gear, and I'm going down the 2 1x12 cab route. But before I can do that, this needs to go. It has a fitted Roqsolid cover as well, worth £50 alone. The cover shows some marks from gigs, as it has worked for a living this cab, but at least it's the cover that's taken the beating and not the cab! I'm also selling the LH1000 head which is designed to go with these HyDrive cabinets, so I'd be willing to do some sort of deal on the pair together, if there're any takers. £350 collected from Rochdale, Lancs. However, I'm driving up and down the country a lot lately, so I can arrange to meet part way too!
14. "You sank my battletuner!" Yep, it's one of the big ones. Cracking tuner in mint condition, very clear and easy to use, I just need a bit more space for other pedals on the board. It's in the original box, and comes with PSU and tails to power 6 other 9V pedals as well. £50 delivered.
15. These are great amps these, but I've just decided to lighten my rig a bit and as great as it sounds, I don't need to amount of power this thing puts out. It's a Hartke LH1000 head, 1000 watts at 4ohm (1100 watts bridged). Built like a tank and has a very good, open sound. It's really easy to use with 5 knobs, one of which being volume! Then a 3 band EQ and a balance knob to bia between cabs, if you wish to do so. It's served me well over the last year or so, and I'll miss it, but it's just surplus to requirements at the moment and I'd rather it go to a home where it'd be used well. Included in the sale is also a 2U rack case for the amp. £300 collected from Rochdale, Lancs. I can look into courier too but it'd be heavy!
16. Most recent ones of me. Nothing's really changed I guess
17. Pedal board and both amp heads are fully flight cased. Cabs just have Roqsolid covers. Basses are either in a Mono M80 or a Hiscox (depends what they're being loaded into!) Then I've got one of those aluminium B&Q cases for bits like my iPad clamp, leads, spares etc. It's held together with gaffer, but does the job!
18. If you go on musicnotes.com, there's a transcription there. Not sure how good it is, but the first page looks pretty accurate to me. It's not a song I like playing to be honest, but soon I'll be playing it on a weekly basis, so godda get it nailed! The other way as others have said is to simply listen to it over and over again. I always learn things in sections; it's never good to just sit and play it all the way through as you'll find yourself making the same mistakes, and learning the mistakes instead of what you're actually meant to play.
19. It doesn't look like an FX chain that's causing the issue, or it shouldn't be anyway. Do the usual thing of checking each pedal individually though, check leads and slowly build up the chain and see where the change may occur. As for preamps, I've just started using an MXR M80+ and I can't fault it. For the money, you really can't argue. I think there's also one for sale on here the moment too!
20. Sold a pedal to Jack, no issues at all. Great comms and swift, easy payment.
21. I don't normally post vids up of my playing... usually because I don't tend to have any, and I sometimes ask myself whether anyone really wants to hear me covering something that many other bassists on the interweb have also covered too. But still, this is a short snippet from a recent rehearsal for my end of degree, assessed band performance. Taken from The Chicken http://instagram.com/p/oiqGuiyJsy/
