1.
Not being a very bright person, I ordered the wrong size for my bass - and I measured first, so I'm obviously particularly stupid, or partially sighted... Mine are the genuine USA ultralite versions, imported by yours truly and guaranteed brand spanking new, complete with washers, bushes/screws etc. If anyone is in the market please feel free to send me a PM. They are the HB6C clover 1/2" shiny nickel ones, configured for bass side (but convertible).
Received the correct size yesterday in the post. Fitted them today to my Jaguar bass, which suffered from neck dive What a difference! Neck dive completely gone, tuners smooth and accurate and now my bass weighs just 4kg! Couldn't be happier The 1/2" versions, pictured above, still for sale to anyone who's interested...
2. Here's another pic of the black chrome Schallers (the one in the OP is a bit dark...) - and have a bump on me
3. Thanks. Bit too heavy for me I'm afraid (bad back :-/), but GLWTS
4. Nut width? Weight?
5. I can't believe this hasn't sold. Beautiful looking bass. This would cost over £4200 if buying new from Sadowsky and importing to UK. An absolute bargain at £2400 - a NYC Sadowsky for about the same price as a new Metro. GLWTS. It might help to show the bass off to view the original ad on the Sadowsky site here http://www.sadowsky.com/stock/view/6500.html

7. Just bought the Fender Jaguar Steve had previously traded on here. Great bass and great guy. Prompt replies to all comms and couldn't have done enough to make the purchase a pleasure (halved the journey between us etc.). Highly recommended, as they say!
8. Just for clarification - you say it is a P profile neck. For a '63 copy, I think I'm right in saying to most of us this would mean 1.75" nut width (44.5mm) though you mention in your NBD thread that the nut width is 40mm...?
9. Is this bass still available?
10. Nice looking bass. Do you have a weight? Also, what year is it? Does it have the heel plate or the countersunk bolts at the neck joint? I presume it is the standard 1.5" nut? Jonathan
11.
EBay max fee is capped at £75, Paypal 3.4%. I see what you're saying, but in the end I would get (give or take a few quid) what I would get here on BC after having been ground to the bone by haggling and the long waiting game...LOL
Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but eBay raised its seller fee cap to £250, so you'll pay a full 10% fee on anything that sells at a value up to £2500, plus of course PayPal fees if that is the chosen method of payment.
12. Just sold my fretless Jazz to Phil. Top guy and top player.
13. Sold with thanks to Philip M. Glad it's gone to a good home
14. Sound sample attached in original post
15. Nice bass What is the weight please? Also, the sunburst looks almost 3-colour in the photo with you playing it, with a distinct red-ish band, but more like the typical Sadowsky 2-colour 'burst in the other photo. I'm presuming the stock photo is not of the actual bass? So in real life, does it have a distinct red band or is it more subtle than that? GLWTS by the way
16. Selling my CIJ fretless as it's just not being played enough. Asking GBP500 excluding shipping costs. Hi res pics here: https://flic.kr/s/aHsk1uHNpT Fender 1962 Re-issue Fretless Jazz Bass Crafted in Japan Pickups USA Vintage J-Bass Body Alder – Vintage White Finish Neck Maple U -shape 432mm Scale Fretboard Rosewood 184mm (7.5") radius Neck '20' Lined Fretless Nut width 38mm (1.5”) Tuners Small Reverse gear Bridge ‘Spiral’ Vintage Controls 2 x vol, 1 x tone Hardware Chrome – original bridge and bridge pickup chrome covers included Product code JB62-FL VWH Serial number dates it at 2005-2006 Excellent (9+ out of 10) condition. Also prefer nut width less than 1.75" Sound file added. First part of sequence is both pickups on full, second part bridge pickup only, last bit neck pickup only. All three had the tone/treble backed off just a tad.
17. Nice. What is the nut width on this?
18. Lovely looking B-15. Is it the double baffle version or single?
19. Very nice looking bass. Do you know if the body is alder or ash? Also, do you know the weight?
20.
Best cabs I've owned were Epifani UL410 Series 1 and Genz Benz Neox 212
+1 for Epifani UL410 (though mine's a series 2)
21. Or is it CAR? Hard to see if it has the metallic sheen of CAR.
22. Very nice. What colour is that? Looks in the pics like Dakota red?
23. er... pics? price?
