3.
i think with some black hardware, a painted headstock and some black blocks and binding it would be a looker
+1
4.
If you PM cetera, its probably the only one he hasnt got ...... he will probably be able to tell you which employee made it..... He does like his Spectors!
It's OK! Don't panic Mr Mainwaring I'm here!! Yep, you've got yourself a lovely Spector Euro (also known as an NS2CR/FM). It's likely got the Spector Tonepump preamp in it which is ALL boost (i.e. flat is in the zero position) but if it's been in their stock for a while it could possibly have a lovely Aguilar preamp in it.... The tonepump is quite a beast and takes some taming but gives an amazing array of sounds I can't tell you exactly which employee made it.... but it would have been overseen by 'Petr' Enjoy!
5. VERY nice! Especially with the bridge cover... Aren't the 'Thumpers' more mid-rangey/brighter than normal P pickups? I thought for a more trad soul sound/flats you'd want the Wizard 'Trad' pickups?
6. Wow! Lovely purchase! Never used their heads but I swear by their old EV loaded Diesel cabs.....
7.
Hehe, yup. Glad someone on here knows who my avatar is of.
That character always kinda reminds me of Tom Johnston of The Doobie Brothers! Google him for a picture...
8. BUMP for a beautiful example of a superb bass....
9. Great head.... I have the more powerful LM600 and it's superb.... How much for the cabs (individually or both)?
10. Thank you kind Sir!! It is indeed a beauty..... I'm shocked it's still here....!
11. In Japan most people use YahooAuctions, there is no eBay Japan to speak of... Maybe Yahoo should jump in over here too?!
12. Let me know if it's still available.... I'm in Kingston
13. PM'd...
14. I'll take it if Stu doesn't. I'm in Kingston so nice & easy....
15. I much prefer this..... Spector 32K Bass but, hey.... what's 3,000 years between friends
16. Ooh, that's lurverly.....
17. Back in the 80's & early/mid 90's they were a great store! I used to LOVE going there & spent a lot of money at the time. Nick, Wayne etc were wonderful, patient, helpful and friendly staff. Since they moved to Liverpool St the stock has become staid and boring and the service has gone to the dogs..... I'm sad to see it go, but it appears that their downfall was of their own making.... what a waste....
18. Oooo.... some nice ones on there! I like the black Jazz......and the sunburst jazz with maple board & white blocks!
19.
alot of us do but our wallets/wives wont allow it.
Agreed (apart from the wife bit....).... I'd love this.... but have a new Spector on the way any day and I also want a white Jap Fender Jazz 75 reissue and a white Jap Fender P 62 reissue first.... Then I have to pay off the VISA card! And THEN I may be up for a Lakland Darryl Jones 4!
20. That's a nice black Stage II..... PM me a price...
21.
I bought mine from ebay japan.
I didn't think Japan had eBay?! I though everyone there used Yahoo auctions?
22. Looking good..... it'll be impossible to find over here though....
23. She's a sweet girl, her band supported mine a couple years back. Her band put on a 'show' and they entertain..... and they BELIEVE in what they do. Can't say fairer that that....!
24. I really like Richard Jones of The Feeling.... He looks cool, plays some nicely crafted, melodic basslines.... and controls the stage with constant prowling and boundless energy....
