  1. i have the 5 string version of that bass, and i quite like it, although completely different from the warwicks made in germany the build quality on these is generally good (the early ones had a few QC issues, but warwick have addressed that), the necks are quite thin, so they are quite easy to play there about 270 new so 150 is pretty reasonable, but i suggest you try a few different basses out for comparison and see what suits, there are some pretty good basses out there within a similar price range, such as Ibanez and yamaha for example

  10. well for me it kinda hard to chose i have a corvette, streamer and a thumb, but i would have to say out of the 3 i would pick the streamer
  11. mines would be my last gig with my old band at the cathouse, glasgow 2002, we played a good set and finished it with master of Puppets, the place was jumping, the band that came on after us were quoted as saying "How do we follow that"

Well sooner than i expected, but since i got a new job i thought i would treat myself The Spec: 4 string J bass (LEFT handed) 34" scale 24 fret 38.5mm nut 19mm string spacing 5 piece wenge / maple bolton neck birdseye maple f/board Blue LED side dots medium frets two way truss rod carbon fibre reinforcement satin finish on neck swamp ash body 5A rippled maple drop top matching quilt headstock veneer polyester basecoat, wet look gloss lacquer Delano MM(Hybrid)/J 3 band shuker circuit (internal mid control, circuit gain) 18v Individual bridge units Black/Gun metal hardware Gotoh GB707 tuners brass nut Fender style headstock Custom decal on headstock for the finish its going to look similar to this [attachment=4135:pic2.jpg] The build is likely to be started at the beginning of January and should HOPEFULLY (crosses fingers) take around 6 months, i will be sure to post pics as i get them
