1. Ah the GAS always get you sooner or later, i am sure Jon will do your spec, he'll pretty much do what you want, he wants his customers to get the bass they want, i see no reason why a double buck jazz would be a problem
2. Looking real nice, looks like its coming along nicely
3.
Blimey, busy, busy chap - Glad I got mine done nice and early! He does make some lush stuff - I think his website could do with an update as he's got some really spectacular basses out recently (especially yours Bassmonster!), though the poor bugger doesn't have enough time as it is! Keeping very close tabs on this build, I'm not sure how responsible I am for Mike going to Jon after he played the Jazz 5 I had a while back! Rich
thanks rich , Jon did say to me recently that he was going to update his site soon.
4. well i have heard jon has 13 builds on at the moment.

15. i am not a fan of the "metal" type basses, but this does look pretty sweet. I am sure someone on here/bw/bt has one an original 80's model with loads of knobs on it.
16. that is nasty!, i have only ever shipped one bass and it was with PF and it was going to Italy, its incidents like this that had me worried about it during transit, i was lucky though it arrived at its location undamaged. i hope you manage to get something sorted out.
17. well my bass GAS has been subdued for the moment, but my trusty carlsbro just died and since i got my annual bonus at work i think i will treat myself to a new amp.
18. i have had this before, to the point where i could no longer feel my thumb and had to revert to finger style mid song, i found warming up better done the trick, i always used to work on my fretting hand more during warm up, since i addressed this the problem has went away, i also switched to dunlop .60mm pics
19. Hey Gary very nice tune, you do get a sense that time and effort has been put into it. nice production by the way.
20. you guys are tight. "last act of rebellion", cool track, you can really here the maiden influence!, you can really here your bass, loving the steve harris type lines btw. Not bad version of cowboys from hell as well
21. pretty tight, "inside out" pretty cool track (apart from the rapping)
22. 6000 grand for inlays!!, oooffftt
23. "Quilted maple top in high gloss finish ( Jon says the finish will be that good it will seem you can put your hand in it ! ) " looking forward to seeing that!! Fragility it will get you its just a matter of time, "doodle" got me, and Tinman is the latest victim
