  2. Bass Guitar you are using? if you honk up the tone knob or treble boost does “hiss” occur when you take your fingers off the instrument?
  3. The very excellent Boss ME-90B for those who prefer physical knobs, buttons and foot switches. It's a great pedal indeed, save your own presets or use it as an all in one pedalboard. Packed with features and incredibly reliable. Loving the amp simulations now that I'm using in-ears a lot. Reason for sale: I have other pedal based things like my wireless system and I want to put them on a board so unfortunately this needs to go to make room. It's been very well looked after and will come with a power supply and the original box. The Bluetooth adaptor is not for sale I'm afraid, I'll be using that on my new pedal. Pickup from London, Cambridge or St Albans. Or I can post it to you at cost.

  4. The black / tort combo works well on the bass on the front-left - sounds great as well. I have @Stub Mandrel to thank for giving me a heads-up there.

  6. When you use it in the third position, do you clearly hear the noise with additional LFO modulation while playing?
  7. Hey, Thanks for answer. So far, I've tried several power supplies, and unfortunately, the noise is the same in both positions two and three. Even on battery power. While position two is bearable because it produces roughly the same noise as the EHX Bass Clone, which I consider noisy, position three is useless because the noise is audible while playing.
  8. People would probably love it - extra vintage. I'm a sucker for a black/tort P Bass ever since I saw footage of Deep Purple and the LSO at the Royal Albert Hall and Roger Glover is sporting a beautiful example. Also George Murray with David Bowie. Both big influences on the young Misdee plunking away on the bass in his bedroom.
  9. I would like the technical explanation. Under 5000 words though please 😉
  10. Not sure whether it’s the camera angle but the headstock looks off from the neck?
  11. Welsh pickups bringing THE TOOOOOOOOOOONE!!!
  12. @Passinwind this man (IIRC) did a study on this
  13. Hi Ron. I'll have a look around, to see if I can find something suitable. It's compact & lightweight, and the gigbag / case is pretty good However, protecting an acoustic instrument from being thrown around etc is my worry. I recently ordered a freezer - just in time for Xmas.... but it arrived in a rather battered state! Pieces falling out everywhere! If they can destroy something mostly made of metal... you get my drift. Anyhow, I'll have a scout around, see if I can find something suitable/ sturdy enough. It's a crying shame this isn't being used. If I hadn't acquired my beautifully made Jabba X-short scale, I'd have hung on to this. Cheers
  14. Hi, Just got one of these today as a tuner for my pedalboard. I have an ST-200 and have given them a quick comparison. It stands up pretty well, matches the ST-200 pitch but is slightly slower to respond. I'll try and get hold of a splitter so I can run them at the same time, and I'll do a video on Youtube comparing them. I know nothing about circuits but here are the insides...
  15. I think I'll commission a tort bass with a black plate. 🤔
  16. This is a really good preamp pedal! Good luck selling it!
  17. To be fair, the bucket in that venue can be quite worthwhile. I used to play there several years ago with a hard rock covers band for £150 plus the bucket. The bucket was always considerably more than the basic fee! Oh, by the way, no one cares if its a three-piece, four-piece, five-piece or eleven-piece! You get paid to generate value for the venue (i.e. bring in people they can sell beer to). No one cares how many band members are on the stage, just if they can entertain the crowd.
  18. Well, you're the one who declared yourself out, I'm just going by what you said. I don't even know what one of those is, except what the words mean. Can you give us some detail about what it is and what it is used for?
  19. £200 is pretty normal for a pub gig here. Anymore and I’d be thinking about giving up the day job! Well, I would if I wasn’t retired….

  21. Hmm, neither is a MIDI controller *technically*, can I get a steward’s enquiry on this?
