Tanglewood Dreadnought TW15NS guitar This Tanglewood Dreadnought guitar is a real quality instrument and has a Spruce top and mahogany sides which give it a wonderful warm but bright tone. It has a new set of D’Addario strings: phosphor bronze, which give a warm bright and balanced tone. The truss rod has been adjusted to give a nice low action and is very comfortable to play and has a great tone The frets have been polished The neck has been treated with Lemon Oil so it’s clean and ‘fed’. It does have a scratch on the front just behind the bridge (pictured) No case and no trades thanks. Price when it was new was £499. Unopened, still have the cellophane wrappers. This is a 5-string set and commonly used as replacements for 40DCs in Spectors to get that PJ sound. The 40P has a reverse P inside and the 40J has a single coil J in there. I have a Euro 5 LX with the same and prefer it to a pair of DCs. I can't see myself buying another 5 anytime soon, so these need to go. -
Hey guys, Bought this brand new a few months ago as a back up. I have only tested it, its never been used at a rehearsal or on a gig. Needing to raise funds for some new 'in ears' so decided to let this little fella go. These are brilliant little amps if dont already know, packs a punch. As new condition, not a mark on it. £190 posted or collection from Swindon. Thanks -

To be fair again, they're also a business and while I can see the O/Ps point of view - that's an ugly bass - if they keep picking up the cost of returns on that basis they will make a loss on the sale. Personally if I were the OP I'd either suck up the cost of the return and ask for photos of the replacement, or travel in person to the store, which may or may not be possible. -

Hi, I very recently bought a Sandberg Florence bass on Reverb. It has what is referred to on the Sandberg website as a "soft aged" finish. The body has what I was expecting, which is small dents and dings on front, back and sides. However, (as per the photo) there is also a 6-7cm long curved scratch close to the tone control. It looks to me a bit like damage done after it left the factory, rather than a deliberately manufactured flaw in the finish. I queried with the seller but they're insisting it's part of the aged finish. I've also emailed Sandberg, but I've not so far had any response. Can anyone else with a Sandberg that has an aged finish tell me if scratches like this are typical for a new bass?

I am aware of the situation of a single 410 cab and having the four speakers layout but what is the improvement if any of stacking two 210 cabs ( horizontally) where the two sets of speakers are further apart than in a single 410 box if that makes sense ? see image as example and in my case both tweeters would be off im aware that vertically stacking is better

Yeah it’s an ‘82. With the slim line Grover tuners too which I didn’t know they still put on . It’s definitely showing signs of wear, but for a bass the same as me it’s aged better 🤣

As it's a fiver, and as I mentioned, it's named XB 500. That said, it's a quite common bass and without a serial number or a distinctive sign, it will be very hard to prove ownership... ☹️

I have the very same head and I'm a big fan of it. I keep toying with the idea of moving it on but every time I gig with it, I'm super happy. Its punchy and the tone shaping is versatile but even running it flat sounds great. I've also tried the MarkBass Little Mark Tube 800 and that sounded really nice as well.

Possibly Walnut? Paul Boyer's book mentions that Walnut was available in matt and gloss finishes up to 1985.
