  2. PRICE NOW DROPPED TO £300. Easily the best speaker cabinet I have ever used: am downsizing to lighter Genz Benz cabs as I rarely play live now. The Eden D210XST Cab is loud enough to be heard and yet still small enough to be used at home or in a small studio. For those players who need a portable, high-performance rig with even more low end than the XLT, Eden has designed a 2 x 10" cabinet for their XST woofers. Punchy and clean, the D210XST produces a full and clear tone through its two 10" speakers. It's excellent for delivering articulate bass lines with volume. This 2 x 10" cabinet handles more power than many 4 x 10" cabs on the market. The D210XST offers huge bottom end with its cleverly-designed tuned and ported cabinet construction and speaker selection: the low end is full but tight, the mids are open and well-defined and the highs are clear and crisp. Durable build quality makes this ideal for touring and live performances. All Eden enclosures are constructed with 5/8" thick void free plywood with full dado and rabbet jointing. Massive internal bracing prevents vibration and keeps the sound deep, tight and clear. Exclusive Eden Cast Frame loudspeakers and Eden Cast Bell low distortion tweeter horns are designed, hand-built and tested in their own factory in the USA. Very Good condition. Comes with an official Eden cover. Power Handling: 500 Watts Impedance: 8 Ohms Speakers: 2x10" Eden-spec Eminence EC1060XS speakers Tweeter: Eden Cast Bell low distortion Crossover: 3.5KHz @ 18dB Frequency Response: 30Hz - 14KHz Sensitivity: 103dB SPL Connections: Parallel 1/4 Inch and Speakon Dimensions: 23" w x 18" h x 18.5" d Weight: 59lbs / 26.8kg NOW ONLY £300. Collection from East London preferred, although happy for buyer to arrange a courier.
  3. Hi. Here you go (from the Gator site)... Length 12.50" Width 19.00" Height 9.00" Cheers!
  4. Hi Terry. I have had some interest – maybe things are just slow these days. I'm surprised it's still here, to be honest!
  5. I did something similar, although I spent 2 years working temp jobs where I could just not turn up and so I was able to do occasional midweek promo gigs with the band. Eventually being practically penniless, not gigging enough take their toll. I didn't have high enough musical qualifications to teach or play in a professional orchestra or show, so a career I suspect 'musical career' for most of us is the what is now known as a 'side hussle'. Part of my career has been travelling the world staying in different hotels and being away from home for months at a time. It's not as glamourous as people think, and that's the life of a gigging 'career' musician.
  6. I met him in a pub one night. Only compensation was, he ended up with the biggest rig in the world. OK, I'll get my coat.
  7. The only fretless basses I've had have had uncoated fretboards... One rosewood (Kramer), one laurel (Harley Benton) and one tiger stripe ebony (Korean Warwick). I'd love to try a coated fretboard like on the Sire fretless J basses, What's the opinion on coated boards?
  8. Better Days - Badfinger
  9. The gig economy unfortunately not known for its pension provision. I worked offshore with someone who was a bass guitarist in a sixties band which charted a couple of times he left to pursue a career in the Oil business, reached a fairly senior position. He didn't like talking about it.
  10. Thank you. Yes, the bridge pickup is so close to the bridge it makes wild mid range sounds, and without a preamp. I like that. No battery. Here's the plan. I've ordered a 'Custom Series - Crafted in America' headstock label from the web to replace the old 'Made in China' sticker. It will validate the inlays, and increase the instruments value to around £9,500.00. Cunning eh?
  11. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
  12. It’s a beauty!!
  13. In the manual it says that outputs 1-5 are 100mA, outputs 6-7 are 200mA, I guess that's a no for the ADAM, then!
  14. That is exactly how I read it, and was imagining a coffee shop with everyone with the red flower pot hats. It was better in my mind than the pictures Roast it, roast it good!
  15. That's crazy inflation 😁
  16. Not only do I prefer to play fretless, I actually find it easier. Its more natural and intuitive. Having played fretless exclusively for the last 10 years or so, going back to playing fretted feels really restricted and constrained.
  17. Three months ago, all I owned was 4 fretless basses and had no intention of buying a fretted bass. However, an artist saw me play (fretless) at a gig in April and asked if I would like to play bass for them. It required a fretted bass so I had to pick one up. This led to playing a big festival gig so I picked up a backup fretted last month.
  18. What's the cap under the top ?
  19. I bet Devoroast would be a bit different.
  20. Thank you Pow! That’s great
  21. Tuesday's Gone - Lynyrd Skynyrd
  22. Graceland is on my album gig list, the problem at present is that our singer/guitarist isn't a fan. I'm working on it 👍
  23. Hiya, this looks great. Do you know how many mA they push out? I've got an ADAM that sucks 500mA so is a thirsty little bugger! Cheers. K
  24. I was making the point that you most certainly can slap flats 👍
