Line 6 HX Stomp in used condition bought from this very forum recently for £300 and looking for the same back. It taught me that I'm a very simple person and I made one patch on the HX stomp which was the fantastic Noble Preamp and an FX loop for all my other pedals So I've done myself a favor bought a Caveman BP1 preamp and now this is surplus. No original box but will be very well packaged for shipping, comes with power supply and usb cable, everything works as it should. £300 shipped. obviously more bubble wrap will be added to the parcel -

There's a couple of appendages that fit either side of the eub body to simulate the acoustic's body. They're not much to look at but the Stagg eub was budget friendly at the time. The neck board isn't as round as an acoustic so playing with a bow is tricky but I only went 'arco' on the intro for Born on the Bayou to get the drone sound.

All situations with bands, band members, bookings and money can be different for a myriad of reasons. I have a buddy a senior guy who's band doesn't gig much and he says ," I'll play for 50 bucks" because he just wants to play. Me, I'm not in that situation and would diplomatically decline 50 bucks a man gigs. And some guys are not in this for money at all. I'm not sure, but I think the tipping culture over here is a little different. And it depends on the venue, the crowd and the vibe of the room. I've seen $1,000.00 tip jars more than once. Stuffed with 20s and even a few 100 dollar bills. I've also seen empty tip jars at the end of the night more than once. It sounds like a great gig but the business part is a little weird. Daryl

I always see gigging as a privilege, bunch of folks have made the effort to come and see us, I always remember they have a lot of choice these days 👍 And we all have a choice Dan. If it’s your job, fair enough, many gigs will be procedural hard work, and sometime really shit. But if not, and you’re still doing loads of gigs you don’t enjoy, it’s your choice. All of this is choice, I choose to pretty much always help charities whether bar staff are being paid or not. Other players and bands don’t, and that’s fine, something that’s 100% their call and not something I have the right to have an opinion on (although I’m not sure why the latter moan about it so much, just say no to charities and focus on paid gigs) 👍

On the uperhorn was a little oversprayed with black colour because the old owner grave His Name on IT .... But Finish Looks original to me i Look under de Neck Joint and under the pickguard seems all original

Hi, been playing for a long time. Took a big pause over COVID and it's taken a while but I'm back in a band. Love playing sludge, doom etc. creating large, punishing waveforms to throw at people it my favourite. I'll have to take some low res pics of my babies, but I have an epi eb3, a fender blacktop jazz(two p pickups with a jazz neck) and my custom finished thunderbird in jade green. Currently waiting for my Laney digbeth to arrive. I traded my orange terror, wanted something with more versatility. I make pedals for fun, with far too many to mention...I like nasty, powerful fuzzes of all varieties. Here to chat, pick brains and just be normal XD

That's the whole point of jam sessions like that! Some of the most memorable nights of my musical 'career' have been blues jam sessions (admittedly with semi-known experienced players, rather than with novice players getting up)!

Yeah, I didn't like it much! Still, I'm still playing so I must have learned a bit from it. I'd had this idea that it might be a good place to learn how to play live, and envisioned a crowd of old sweats who'd nurture the youth; sadly not. in this instance!

Totally this. Blues can be many things, and a lot of them ain't easy. Listen to Robbin Ford play blues and imagine having to back him up. Firstly, how does move through the changes? Not all blues is 1-4-5, and even if it you need to make it sound good. What and where are the turnarounds? What cliches are the right ones? I know we're only talking about a jam night but if it's with an audience and not in your mate's front room you don't want to show yourself up.

Seems pretty clear in the ad to me? It was a pretty involved story though. This is a faulty one. The first one I received was faulty. I sent the first one back, got another one. That second one was faulty too, so Nathan sent a third one, but in the meantime the orange sh*tgibbon stuck the US tariffs on, so Nathan said don’t bother sending the second one back. It functions fine but the chassis is microphonic.
